There is a possibility that that car was repossessed and there by the order of the lienholder for resale. This smear racing around the parking lot not only causes a hazard for people in the auction property loading / unloading vehicles, inspecting vehicles, or patrolling the lot, but if the debtor pays off that vehicle before it gets sold, then he / she can come redeem it. Then once the vehicle's owner realizes that the car is whooped, then they'll be all over the repo co. Stupid to tape it.

I had actually thought it happened at Woodhouse because of the dealer plate on the car, but someone else found out it was at the auction. Jin69ohyeah(the driver) had posted the video and someone else posted the info, but then Jin deleted the video. I had saved it for epic lulz in the event that he would delete it, and here we are. :)
He shouldn't have done it because it's not his. But calling it abusing is a bit of a stretch. There's not a whole lot that happened in that video that a ZR1 isn't meant to do. Maybe a few too many bounces off the rev limiter for my liking, but big deal. I'd be more worried about buying a Chevy Malibu that was treated like that, as it's not built for that kind of thing.

I actually work at Woodhouse and have driven that exact ZR-1. The only difference is that I actually treat what I drive with respect, because its not mine or mine to play with. Unless it happens to be my own and I want to beat on what I own then I will. But the people at work today were talking about it so I had to check it out.

He shouldn't have done it because it's not his. But calling it abusing is a bit of a stretch. There's not a whole lot that happened in that video that a ZR1 isn't meant to do. Maybe a few too many bounces off the rev limiter for my liking, but big deal. I'd be more worried about buying a Chevy Malibu that was treated like that, as it's not built for that kind of thing.
