@solothreedog the cheapest laptop I can think off my head with good specs is asus n55sf (£750) it has an i7 2.2ghz/2.8ghz, 6gb ram DDR3 and a nvidia geforce gt555m 2gb GDDR5 and that should run any game up to date on high.

what you should of done is get ure economy up alot and then construct around 2 - 3 armies and send them to different parts of europe. one to france. one to denmark and the other to africa. quicker and easier to get more money and regions.

surely you don't need to concentrate on europe let other countries wear each other down, but only intervien when super power i.e a country that is starting to dominate europe.

build a massive navy and armies in americas, whilst gaining at least one capital in india and then you'll be sweet.

Im playing as england but im shit at naval battles, i cant controll more than 3 ships at a time.

Having a good navy isn't always handy though. I like to capture all my enemies fleets if I can but it costs a fortune and you don't get much in return.

I only compose my fleets of the largest ships i can get, and they are useful because as im currently playing as great britan and am at war with every one in the major nations except from sweeden and the united provinces and the factions in asia so i have to constantly patrol my trade routs as they are being raded every turn, when there not getting raided i get about 11000 income per turn. My fleet cost me about 30000 per turn tho, which isnt much, but im still up.

the first way that cavelry was ever used was not to flank but to chase enemies however in this game there are more ways to use cavalry:to flank,to straight attack,to help other units but only 2 are important surround enemy and help other units

easy irl for example 1 million or more soldiers are in the chinese military they feed them in usa like idk a lot we feed ourselves in ww2 we had over 15mil people that fought easy and civilions would cut back on food so they soldiers got more.

it's 2.25 million in the chinese army and it's easy to imagine not because of rationing but increased production and logistics make it possible. Also, Napolean and French commanders encouraged their soldiers to loot towns and steal food on their own.

You should recruit cavalry in your american army in Canada, this will give your army or options to use in battle like a successful flank attack.

Handy but to be honest not needed...linemen and lots of them are the key as there mele and ranged will rip apart any army :).

If its a straight up fight where you know what there going to do then yes. There good. Cavalry can be used in many ways. The first and most liked stratigy with them is the flank. Another thing they can do is to serve as a decoy or go in first, do as much damage as possible, run back to your lines and then your line Infantry can do the rest. Stratigy is just as important as shear power.

linemen arent always sucessful if you dont know ho to use them right, also if ur enemy have cavalry and ur line men are already pre-occupied, the cavalry can flank and the artillary will blow ur linemen away

You should burn down the Indian thing and build a council chamber or something, the indian building is countering your ministers work.

What kind of defense does Nova Scotia have? It might be a good soft target. Since you have Iceland you might want to look at securing north eastern Canada rather than heading into the Yukon.

As for Europe, you're already at war with Denmark so you might as well take a crack at Norway. Portugal might also be an option depending on how the political winds blow. That would net you another school.
