its very disturbing how much robert plant reminds me of Tiny Tim... not to mention how robert plant is just barely in key while singing this... long live the king... and the beatles
@bluesraver You're a d*ckhead. Robert Plant only reminds you of Tiny Tim because of his hair! I didn't pick up a sour note in that song. Where did you get the "barely in key" bit from? A Led Zep doing Presley is NOT going to sound anything like the original. I think this is great! It rocks! And I'm a Presley fan.
@nthqlndr no, Plant just reminds me of tiny tim because he's usually in too high of a pitch. And none of Zepplins covers sound like the originals, thats why it took 30-40 years for the original artists company's to realize what Plant did to them and get the good sense to sue for what i like to call "musical manslaughter". I do like Zepplin as a band but as soon as Page quit heroin it all went downhill, and Plants Morrison-esque poems and constantly yelling "BABY! BABY! BABY!" gets old too quick.
@nthqlndr well thanks for not being a dick like everyone else that disagrees with me on this site haha, can't tell you how many times i've commented on a hockey fight and someone said something about the guy on my favorite team (Flyers) acting like a goon or a class-less player haha
Would have liked to see McCartney rip this one up on vocals, in the same vein of his version of Lucille back in '79 with Bonham, John Paul Jones, Pete Townsend, members of Rockpile etc. (Live at Kampuchia)
Deana3451. Good song

It's amusing how Plant misses the cue that the song is over and tosses in a bonus refrain at the end.

@mikethekhotmailcom ... and that he isn't even very hung up about it... and the Rockpile guys aren't, either. It's cool like that. :)

What year did this song come out. I used to hear it on KLOS. Plant did many great cameos. He was also in Honeydrippers.
