It's too vague to blame the government, but showing people that the corporatism of America is what's crippling their rights and economy gathers far more support.

Wall street corruption is a symptom of government. When you have a system where the evil and powerful have the ability to climb to the top of the power ladder (ie government), you end up with this kind of bs.

@ritherz I don't think anyone at Occupy Wall Street is looking only at the bankers. THEY know that politicians are just as greedy and guilty in this as the bankers.

They prefer to cut off the source of the government's power, which is money given to them by corporations and bankers, by ultimately demanding that they make the change to cut off the companies' opportunity to lobby government. All political campaigns and parties would have to be publicly funded.
