Absolutely!! The anime series is a must-see. The OVA however, is no where near as good as the series. I definitely recommend watching it, the series that is.

indeed, The series is wonderful. The Movie that was made afterwards is strange, very dark and pretty much takes the story a different direction.

I liked both, but the series is much better.

This anime was truly amazing. Maybe not the most of intense of story's. But it was charming, and they fit so much character development and story progress in one season. It was truly a master anime.

I agree the movie was a little strange. But for the most part, it was really awesome. The drawings were fantastic.

I watched it some time ago, so maybe I don't remember it all so well, but movie was more mature. Anime had a little bit more childish and simple story. In movie everything was a little less colorful and cheerful, less naive, although die-hard fans may be outraged that many things were diametrally changed. After 1st time I thought the same - that movie was awkward and poor. But after the second one, some time later, I liked movie better.
