  • This video was epic.

  • a/v is snail oil

  • VERY nice. Probably the best Primer on Internet Security I've seen.

  • F-Secure is from Finland! <3

  • My boyfriend cried watching this... I'm not even kidding.

  • interactive work very nice!

  • Instead of the cloud, I thought they were going to say heurestic analysis.. I was like wth?

Anyways, the first cload antivirus ever made is panda cloud.

  • @53525252252 F-secure did cach the first virus tought, Brain :P (datafellows) if i am not worng :P

When we are talking about who did what first.

  • @NHLArks Brain was a bit before Data Fellows. But F-Secure's mikko Hypponen did analyze it at the time. This year he did the first video with the creators which is on our channel page.

  • @NHLArks the "Brain" was not the first PC virus. It might have been first IBM-PC virus made for MS-DOS operating system but not the first PC virus. I believe the first PC virus was the "Creeper" which is worm type virus and it was first found 1971. It runs on DEC PDP-10 hardware and inside TENEX operating system. However since PDP-10 hardly is a PC, I probably should say that the first PC virus ever in wild was "Elk Cloner" made for Apple II and it run on Apple DOS 3.3.

  • Simply awesome advert...

  • Well made, this was truly an awesome video!

  • this video is well put togather i like it

  • best internet security ..trust me

  • ...or not use windows

  • nice AD, You feel the proportion between underlining ur brand and making neutral atmosphere. But the GP goes to the reader!!! - without him it would be decent...funny such a detail.

  • Wow! This ad is interesting...

  • F-Secure For the Loss!

  • Congrats to this brillant Video!

  • blue ranger-f secure

    red ranger-Kaspersky

    yellow ranger-Norton

    green ranger-ESETNOD32

  • lol

  • Love the video, has a "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" feel to it.

  • Not only a rather informative film, but also a true piece of art. Excellent! Furthermore - inventive animations set aside - I have found F-Secure software to be irreplaceable on my computers for quite a few years now, both at work and home. It's been far to long time since you made any Mac software though. The new F-Secure Mac Protection Technology Preview need soon get out of beta... :-)

  • This is all great but it seems like this all means nothing because our browsers are being compromised.

  • I find the concept is really good , especially with the cloud technology there are mentioning in the video. It's might be just a small step at the beginning , but eventually it will be a big step in provide security to my computer systems.

I'm satisfy and love F-secure latest Internet Security 2010 !

  • F-Secure has cloud?

  • Please give the new Client Security 9.0, Internet Security 2010 and upcoming PSB 9.0 a try...

F-Secure has had problems with performance in the past, but these new versions have been improved on speed with over 50% less footprint in your memory.

    70% ligther, 50% faster.. ;)

  • Were sorry to hear youve had a bad experience with our product. This past year weve been working hard on making our Internet Security lighter so that it takes up less resources on your computer both in terms of system impact and memory use. Are you possibly still using F-Secure Internet Security 2009? If you are, you can upgrade to the 2010 version for free on our website.

  • eeeeh wrong!!

this is pr bullshit to fool stupid people ( which seems to be your target croud ) anyway

your program can't be 100% "cloud based" some parts of the virus database have to be on the local hard drive, and the what about the bandwidth this "new-uber-super-new-cool" anti-virus protection will use ?

So instead of slowing down my computer you will eat up all my bandwidth ?

What about the poor people with a broadband plan with a download / upload limit aka "cap" ??

  • G-Data is cloud as well

  • Excellent Video. 5 Stars.

    Panda/Prevx/Immunet/F-Secure are cloud so far.

  • F-secure is a great AV. Also, love the Guru Meditation reference :D

  • yeah, this is a great video. to all the norton/symantec fanboys...pls go flame somebody else....

  • Too bad that that company's linux antivirus (that for some weird reasons I've been forced to use in my work computer) forces me of using a kernel < 2.6.26 otherwise it wouldn't work. So, how many security threaths I'm exposed to because of that?!? :D

  • Your index finger!!! Haha...didn't see that one coming!!!

  • Fantastic video. Didn't even realize this was an add!!!

  • The cloud is the F-secure lab.

  • well its there servers. not the lab

  • Kyl on tunteella tehty

  • I have tried this anti-virus and its great =D

  • ...are the "cloud" safe?

  • well i would hope so because all of the data is going to be going through the f-secure servers at there data centers

  • Well made, cool video.

  • This was made by Nitro FX in Finland.

  • gee - you guys came up with the idea of cloud computing, brilliant!

what, no, well you came up with the idea of cloud computing for antivirus - great!1

    what, no, um

so your cloud approach is different from the half dozen other antivirus clouds exactly how?

  • you work for symantec, right? and you don't like other antivirus companies - of course. ^^

  • I don't have an index finger you insensitive clod!

Awesome clip; I forwarded it around

  • Great work. Who made the animation?

  • Nice work guys! Great video... and funny too! Love the bit where the dialogs keep popping up during Space Invaders..

  • Awesome!

  • Great animation!
