Clickers are slow, they need to keyboard turn which is terrible, if you dont keyboard turn you cant use spells. Thats why clickers have no chance against non clickers in pvp.however, clicking in pve is fine

I was in a military RP guild, it was kinda a division of the guard of Stormwind.

yes and no. Its depends how much you destroy the "illusion" of the atmospere in a RP server. And if someones wants to ban you for saying something simple like "hey hows it going" You can always justify it by roleplaying it out by saying "My apology sir if I just offended you.You know we Gnomes say hey in Gnomreaggan all the time.Its a newly invented word by our chief grammatist Paris Heyton" Same thing with untypical RP names. Had to explain the RP-GM why my Tauren warrior was called Optimus

On our server, RPers were a very fringe community. Every so often, you'd see someone walking (not running) from Stormwind to Goldshire while they converse about the lowered standards for recruitment into the Fortress Guard. As long as you didn't run up and start jumping around calling them nerds, they wouldn't bother you about your OoC chat about how you had to pause the raid last night cause your buddy had go to work early.

It was a bit of a gimmick. It was rare that I'd get crap from other players for choosing an RP-PvP realm as my main, and i doubt that was common among players as a whole.

Really, RP-PvP wasn't different than the other realms I played on except that Trade channel arguments over whether hardcore RPers in WoW are nerds had the extra stipulation of "Well, this is an RP realm, so if you don't like RPers, LEAVE." There was no more or less raiding, PvPing, or RPing than any other realm I played.

Basically, she's one of those super capital bosses (I think our equivalent is Ironforge, but don't quote me on that). Anyway, she has the Warmasters in the room with her as well as that side boss guard with her. Factor in the handful of Horde that were there and the lack of organization for our group...

We got pwned, but it was insanely fun.

Thank you. It was even more epic to actually DO, but for that, you might need to find a bunch of bored people in trade channel and somehow alert the horde (for it was their numbers that brought the epic to an otherwise mundane city raid).

If it was a private server...alot of the animations would be glichy, he would not have alot of people with him, because in just about every private server, nobody does stuff like this. And also, I dont think shamans totems work in most private servers, which the video shows alot of. Just because something is cool doesnt mean it is from a private server...

Nah, you're probably thinking of some of the aftershock pseudo-raids that went on for the couple weeks after this. Invictus kept organizing these things for a while (he no longer plays), but for some reason this one was about as big as they got (that I've seen).

Wrong raid, bro. This one was done in the early evening around 6pm server on a Friday night (and the Horde were there in droves in Undercity as well as Orgrimmar).

Maybe it's not so clear on the vid cause the quality is shit on YouTube, but we definitely hit a fair amount of Horde resistance.

A good point, but regardless of whether or not RP implies city raids, I've heard people whine more than enough times that they don't want to roll on RP servers because of the lack of raiding, active bgs, etc. etc.

Anyway, it's really just a catchy tagline for my video because Maelstrom is RP-PvP, making the point moot.

You just should inform yourself about RP before talking about it.

I still wish we did more city raids and crap on my server. Xroads gets boring after raiding it 5 million times lol. The most fun i had in world pvp was when We pissed off the horde one weekend we killed all there leaders (Pre BC) and the next day. the horde has a 80 man Raid onto SW and we had about 120 Allince backing them off of us. and went to GS, basicly Goldshire was a sea of blood if it was in a real life sence. and for that week there where raid on SW b/c we killed there leaders.

Hehe... I learned my spells by numbers once but when I changed my bars it was chaos, so I got that ArcHud2 mod instead and made it so I generally don't need to look higher than my character on the screen to keep track of everything. I really should get things down better, but I'm doing fine in Arena without it, so no rush.
