ain't bad but one can watch videos from 2006 for mobile phones with 3.2 megapixel with autofocus, zenon flash and 16 digital zoom.

Anyways, it doesn't matter as it is a good effort for apple. It is a shame that Samsung and Sony Ericsson got 12 megapixel in the same year.

yup but to bad those sony ericsson and samsung phones suck ass, i review phones for my work, and there is no phone that tops the iphone, yes the iphone has some features missing that otheres have, but there is tons in the iphon that no other phone has and wont have for 2 years...people who bash phones or at least the iphone, are usually the people that really want it but cant afford it... night mode is an option (mostly on Sony cameras), when the infrared filter is removed from camera. But. sensor without infrared filter makes wary bad quality shots in daytime. Another way is to increase ISO - again BAD way, again noizes artifacts. Sony makes hes infrared filter shiftable out of sensor when you select night mode, but minimum shatter speed anyway too long to make good shoot of anything than static environment. Size of mobile phone too small to make any shifting mech on sensor.

I've got the iPhone 3G and feel like crap knowing that I'm broke right now (just got back from my vacation in the Philippines) and I can't afford a 3G S lmao.

The video qaulity is amazing on this phone and would've been cool to use while about in the Philippines.

Anyways, this test video is some pretty good quality. What scares me is when you spin in a circle looking at the grass. It looks really blurry.

Pictures seems to be quite ok. However this video-what the hell? Are they kidding me? My old 5mpx Nokia N82 makes a way better video. Otherwise iphone looks very user friendly, speed is great, lot of applications...but they should work on that camera.I will think about next generation of iphone. Still N97 seems to be my next buy

Yes it does shoot vga, BUT Imovie does NOT make it true HD. It is impossible to take non-HD video and make it HD in post.
