  • ? Is kind kind o kind a ponding term? Im new to the pond world

  • Hola pondhunter, yo soy un gigante fanatico de su trabajo !! Ud es el hombre!

  • @weewillywinky1000 hahha, well given that willywinky is bilingual I think I may know who it be. kind kind o kind?

  • Nice pond but why did you title the video 'a step by step tutorial?' The title leads one to believe that there is actual information on how to install a pond.

  • @cmsgee Hello the title was misnamed! I have sonce changed the name of the video so it does not confuse others as well. I hope you'll come back and check out some of the other Pond Hunter videos! -PH

  • You never mentioned what was the power of the pump you used. I just learned it is a 850 galons pond.

  • @EMILCAT7 Hi Emil, on this installation I used a 3000 gph submersible pond pump. Thanks for watching visit me on facebookcom/thepondhunter too

  • i love this pond!

  • @dkj1835 Aha! Found one you liked! LOL. Thanks for watching and commenting. Hope to hear more from you!

  • Great job and Great pond !

  • Thanks Gumper, I'll have some new stuff posting pretty soon.

  • pond is fantastic all the rock and the moss rock set it off perfect look's natural. The water fall curtain is the most spectacular waterfall feature to that pond well done.

  • Thanks Coral, the rockwork on this pond took time but was worth it!

  • I could only imagine how much time it took you and your crew to get it all just right.

  • Nice size for a backyard pond. Once you put some plants in the pond it will really come to life! You need some floaters for your fish to hide under!

  • Hey Gifted, thanks for the comment. This video was shot before plants started growing back in to any real size. We are in the northeast so about this time of year (July) the plants really start looking good. I do not recommend floating plants for installations that have skimmers, the floaters tend to overwhelm the skimming system and cause maintenance issues. I like to keep it low maintenance for my customers, on other types of water features I love the floaters, just not w/ skimmers!

  • nice pond needs more fish

  • I'm gonna pass your message along to the owner! I'd like to see him add more fish too....

  • Don't forget the hot babe in a pink thong :D

  • maybe that message should be first................then fish!

  • One of the most common backyard ponds problems is overstocking of fish.

  • I see that very often. Overstocking and overfeeding are two common issues, that often lead to bigger problems.

  • Nice looking pond, what are the dimensions, and the gallonage.

  • This pond is about 10X4X2.5 and approx 850 gallons. Cheers.
