He is an atheist, and on the liberal side of nearly every social issue, and his support for the war is the desire to spread secular democracy and human rights abroad, whereas a true conservative cares not for democracy and human rights in other countries but is an isolationist that only cares about his own country

I think people are so used to disliking him for working for bush in the past.

McClellin was definitely as intelligent as Hitchens this year.

Even in this interview he was able to cite places where Obama was bipartisan.

I would say hes being a wise healthy supporter and as long as he thinks for himself and doesnt start with talking points for either side like Lars and that other repub is doing, i will respect him fully for it.

Anything that throws doubt on religion is fanaticism. People who doubted religions were considered heretics and killed.

I agree, the only people promoting hatreds in the world are the religions.

Muslims hate jews and christians, and in turn jews and christians promote the hatred and demonization of their opposing faiths.

These three faiths all rely upon a coming apocalypse as an instrument to bring forth the messiahs of their respective faiths.

They see the clash of civilizations as an inevitibility and necessity to fullfill the promises in their respective religious texts.

I dont even agree with Hitchens most of the time. All we have in common is atheism.
