what do all of the potentiometres do could you tell me please just so i know as i am making one of these with a similar drum machine could you give me an idea on how you made it .I have a six effects voice changer will tjhat be even better .jst need to know if that is ok with you sir
The drum machine depends on you, the mods only alter the audio so If you want a midi controlled drum kit, no problem it can be easily fitted. I guess I would charge about £60 to fit a box on the side with the gubbins inside! If you want to take it further send me a message.
this as beyonds word ,what voice changer di you use and how did you get it to work with drum box could you tell me please as i am have 5 of these drum boxe at homes
I think it was a 'power rangers' voice changer. you just hook the mic input to the voice changer from the output of the drum machine ( well you need a few level matching components but that is basically all there is to it! )
I circuit bent one of these a few months ago. The panel is a little different, but the preset beats are exactly the same. I got the circuit out of a toy I found at the flea market marked only as "Drum 2"- no brand name.
How you doin.. I wont post the price here, but it was a respectable amount. I have made another already, noise box III eBay no 120138550816, and also on youtube under 'more from this user'

The voice changer is very useful. Ppl sell it in all kinds of bent implementations.

I actually sold this over a year ago!
But I could be persuaded to make another, I just need a donor drum machine!

haha well I was just wondering what purpose the sa-5 serves. It appears to be triggering the sounds or something at the end.
hmackerelfilms 3 years ago
Ah.. I forgot about the SA-5 at the end.
The noise box has an auxillary input so you can hook anything up to the voice changer, sort of an early paradox mod.
If you hunt out my modular noise synthesizer clip you will see what this noise box evolved into ;-)
xd515 3 years ago
how did you sync the noise box with the sa-5?
hmackerelfilms 3 years ago
What do you mean?
There's no SA-5 in this noise box, just a drum machine and a voice changer.. well barely a drum machine, some cheap chinese thing :-)
