SEARCH all the religion and when you find GOD is one and unique then you have found the right one.

Search without having anybodies opinion- get the holy book and read it. Known that god has given as an instruction manual which is perfect and understanding to all human AGAIN god is perfect. If you find one single mistake that does not make since and does not make you happy know, it is not the word of god.

Every object you see has a manufacturer and has a purpose, therefore we are created by the one GOD who is perfect, all-knowing, who has no partner, who is unique. Know that god is not similar to humans because if so what does the tell us GOD is not perfect. GOD does not need to come down to humans to known how they feel after all good is all-knowing.

I understand your point and as humans it is natural we are attracted to those who possess features we desire, whether male or female. However, as you point out, this attraction is fleeting. If the qualities we thought existed are false, our beliefs are shattered. In order to maintain a relationship with someone they need to be constant, just as to hold political or religious beliefs we must personally agree with them on a fundamental level.

I fear sometimes that people's weaknesses can often lead them into religious traps. You got me thinking about how many people get caught up in something like religion, because someone pays a little bit of attention to them. How many times does a man or woman get married to someone because they show a little bit of kindness towards. Sometimes these relationships start out friendly and end up disastrous.

"Because it pays a little bit of attention to them"-care to define that? From what I can hear, this lady's first experience of Sikhism was positive. From that experience I presume that she went on to study the tenents of Sikhism and found that they made sense to her, before converting to Sikhism. To say her "weakness led her into a trap" is like saying a student who becomes interested in maths becasue they had an excellent maths teacher is "being duped by their teacher".

Very good point. I love the way you put that about the math teacher. But what if the math teacher was teaching, what he had been taught from his teachers and so on by their teachers. How would you actually know that your math teacher was doing a good job. What do you, just what if your teacher was wrong? In many religions, they prey on the weak minded, the needy and the poor. That's probably how most of these religions become so big.

I mean no offense in any way, people are attracted to others by their charisma and if you notice, most leaders or popular people at your work, school or church have a lot of charisma. These people all have followers are people that like them, but at the same time are intimidated by them and can be misled.

When someone starts paying a little attention, to someone lacking attention, it's very easy to fall into another's spell or charm. Sometimes this can lead to bad things.

I know women that are attracted to strong, wealthy and intelligent men, only to end up becoming second-class citizens to them. In the beginning of the relationship, the woman was attracted to this man because of his charm or charisma.

Only later to find out, that he was using her for her, beauty, intelligence, whatever and now she is trapped in a life where her opinion doesn't matter. This same thing happens to men who get caught up in their wife's life.

It is true that certain "religious" people spin their pown warped and twisted version of their religion to promote their own hidden agenda, just as polititians will take a universal truth and spin it to fuel their campaign. However, with persistance and an open critical mind it is possible to see through them. With religion you need only go to religious scriptures and learn about the saints, warriors and wise people in them and try to learn from them.

I understand that with some religions this is difficlt. Who knows what true Christianity is? There are no texts by Jesus Christ himself-we can only guess and go back into church history and politics. However, in my unbiased opinion Sikhism doesn't have this problem. Sikh holy scriptures are written by the Guru Jis in modern languages, anyone can learn these languages and learn about Sikhism direct from the source.

If clarification is needed, one can go to religious people. But it is not essential - the tenents of Sikhism are clearly stated and by researching the lives of the Guru Ji's and their followers, we can see clearly what true Sikhism is, without being influenced by people with a private agenda.
