If it's the one with that clear little receiver, I already tried that, it still doesn't work, I am currently swapping to different batteries and possibly it might work.

Is this the Unicron battles version, or the first original version, cause I can never get my regular armada prime's trailer to transformers.

@Hornet1171: mine was the first original version. it's mechanism uses infrared. there is a receptor on one of the trailer side (i forgot which side), when transforming optimus, try pointing optimus' cabin (the transmitter is in the cabin) at the trailer side. it should trigger the trailer to transform automatically. Also, when you're transforming optimus into super mode, point at the trailer it will also transform and form the super legs!
