i always felt like she was talking to herself, like from two different perspectives.

i was just listening to this and it's like all calm and then I hear "go to Hell, fuck you," and it caught me off gaurd.

i can't stop thinking about the lyrics. seems like a very isolated place she wrote this from, yet the song is directed with hope at a mirroring relationship. Hope waiting, waiting, waiting and then giving up with rage. The haunting part is the end, "I love you, I love you too" recited in such a commonplace tone. I'm sure Lisa Germano would just laugh if she read this, but it does give me a comforting warmth to hear this song after all the intimate territory it covers through it's 3 (?) verses.
