  • AAW!! My dad will talk to a whippetbreeder today!! I've giving him dogadvices, and dad said no to whippets at first, but I said "They're not as small and tiny as italian greyhounds! Look at them!" They won our hearts, so I can't wait for getting a little girl home :D so excited!!!!!!!

  • she's like ay why you yanking me around, didn't you ever wanna stop and smell the grass?

  • oh my god that is so stinkin cute!

  • Sorry but not a whippet no no no Cats, alone for hrs nope will go mad.

  • @tottonbikes Wait but dont they sleep alot at day? Like I have work Im planning to come at lunch breaks but is that okay?!! I would take it for run, play games with it at morning, and noon!

  • @itsMUSICY i have a three year old whippet that loves cats (he didn't grow up with cats, either, just adjusted very well after being introduced to them as an adult) and that i trust completely home alone all day while i'm at work. i really don't think your set-up is bad for a whippet at all. he/she might be a little scared of the horses, but your whippet shouldn't be outside alone anyway!

  • hey

i might be getting my own dog soon but it would be alone most of the day (9 - 4)ish.

it would have to be freindly with the cats and the horse and not scare sheep.

do you think a whippet would be okay??

  • @HorseyCat101 Get a retired racing greyhound, they sleep all day and a lot of horsey people have them. they are also good with cats, well some of them :)

  • I'm in love again...Great bit of footage.

  • We have 3 Whippet's, 2 Italian Greyhounds and a Weimaraner.... Never a Dull Moment here... Great Vid...

  • She ! lol.........Never regreted getting a second whippet at all, lots of hard work while they are still so young, but they are the best of friends and spend ages playing and of course sleeping together <3 <3

  • Adorable! Of course he reminds me of my Whippet when I first got him... about 10 weeks old. He's now two, so looks like the adult whippet you were walking Skye with. Can I ask what made you decide to get a second one? (I was thinking of getting a second dog myself), and.... has it been a good thing overall? Thanks!

  • aww!! the memories of taking care of a wippet puppy though lately i have to go threw another batch XD

  • Very cute looks like my whippett now called gromit he's easily distracted aswell
