At about the 34:00 point, there is a very-obviously Bullitt-inspired scene, where the pursued police car suddenly pops up behind the pursuers. Great stuff.

Who on earth would want to harm Huggy Bear? The Huggy character was an essential element of the show. Terrific! Wonderful cast.
