Bluebirds and Tree Swallows nesting together in paired boxes

Doesn't bother the young at all. Nestling bluebirds and tree swallows are routinely handled, weighed, banded, measured, etc., when they're small, as the young in these two nests were. However, when they get near fledging they shouldn't be approached or handled - doing so might cause them to leave the nest prematurely.
