I just wanted to add this about Ronnies signing. The one thing I love about a guy who is defense first and offense second is he would be pass first. I saw Deng last year when he had the ball, he would try to go against alot of defenders. When he clearly could've passed, but Deng is offense first defense second. I know the Bulls wanted him to score more cuz they didnt really have another scorer outside Rose. Deng could be better if he passes though, maybe he can learn from Brewer. Go Bulls!!!!

I like this one the us. Korver should start cuz NBA plays zone so his deficiencies are as apparent on defense. I like Brewer comin off the bench to come at DWade/Kobe/Ray Ray and to take advantage of back door cut when they are tired already. Luol is already the third scorer, so we are set as soon as we get another point unless Jannero can be consistent wit his shot.

He is only 25, 7th in the league in steals last year, has a good mid range game, oh & he can also run the break & yes, dunk. Lineup = Rose/Brewer/Deng/Boozer/Noah. Thats a running team all day & now if we cant run, we can break the defense down with pick & roll with Rose & Booz or just give it to Rose or Boozer. Not to mention a nice bench, with 20mil still left over to sign some more players.

Also, Brewer's defense isn't as impressive as you might think.

The reason this was done was to save on cap space and clear room on an already over crowded 2 position. He was due to make 2.7 mil this year. Over the cap that translates into 5.4 million the Jazz saved. Korver and Miles really aren't much worse if at all than Brewer. He is a better defender and gets easy baskets, but Korver and Miles can actually shoot it which helps prevent defenses from packing it in on us. He is averaging 2 points per game in 16 minutes per game with Memphis.
