I am feeling called away from my home town where I currently serve with Youth for Christ, to serve the same organisation but in a bigger city. I have been offered an opportunity to serve there from September this year, but am scared to say yes. Lord I ask that you would give me the wisdom and the courage in the coming weeks to make the right choice, but Lord if this call truly is of you, then "here I am Lord"

@tennotes Thank you kindly for the comment. This is probably my favourite rendition of this simple piece. I sometimes find hymn-singing to be a bit saccharine, but the choir at Wells does hymns so well. Malcolm Archer, their director, seemed to have a real sense of how to make the hymns neither too spare nor too bogged down. They released a series of disks consisting entirely of hymns (appropriately called 'The English Hymn' Volumes 1-5) that are absolutely worth a listen if you like this one.
