  • The US having pretty much every gud league in the world n i wud expect for them to hav the best soccer leaugue in the world but no MLS c'mon

  • the poor photographers don't get to watch the game...

  • look at the PRIDE in the USA chants, let's strive to feel that all the time

  • 0.25 lol old lady

  • If you think alexlvnv1688 is an idiot after reading his comments

    give a thumbs up

  • @yacinezidane ...f*ck algeria u terrorist supporters..s*ck a dick u sand n*ggers

  • @bluntblowingmexican 5-0 against the usa b team basically. maybe one or 2 that are on the national team played in that game. that game didnt matter for the USA.

  • @bluntblowingmexican

    who do you go for?

  • @bluntblowingmexican Fuck Mexico the USA beat your Spicket asses more then you can count hahaha its a record in FIFA world cup Mexico has lost the most matches in world cup history:22(its a hard solid fact).

  • It always amazes me when foreigners think that the usa doesnt care about soccer...Its the MEDIA in the USA that doesnt like soccer...The people of america have always and will always have just as much passion for the game as any other country...take that to the bank

  • @Kushsmoka420 Oh really? Why don't you go outside and ask a white American what he thinks about soccer. Most likely the response will be : "I dont watch girly sport, only masculine sports like NFL and NBA".... I still dont understand how is soccer a sissy sport. Players break their legs and knees yet Americans still think its boring and sissy. You might just be part of that 30% of Americans who actually enjoy watching soccer. The rest either hate it or don't even know who Ronaldo is.

  • @alexlvnv1688 ..I could ask any american white, brown, black whatever.. they will all know what the world cup is...Just because you dont enjoy soccer or cant play it either doesnt mean most people dont...Soccer is popular in the USA because we have so many immigrants that they bring that passion with them from other countries ..dnt respond to a comment just to argue...get a life

  • @Kushsmoka420 Dude, you are insulting the wrong guy! Im from Argentina, soccer is part of my life! Maybe I didnt make myself clear, Im just saying that soccer is not even big in the states. Like you said, only immigrants play and watch the game. Natives dont give a crap about it and dont even know who Ronaldo or messi are.

  • @alexlvnv1688 ...soccer isnt as popular as football per say but it is popular none the less..That statement by you is false and im not going to argue about it...I dont care where you are from. Soccer is popular in the USA...take that to the bank

  • @Kushsmoka420 Is soccer more popular than football? no. than basketball? nop. Than baseball? definitely nop. So basically soccer is stuck between ice hockey and golf... thats how popular the sport is in the United States. How can you call a sport popular when its like the 4th or 5th most watched sport in the nation????

  • @alexlvnv1688 ..listen up...WHo bough the most tickets for this world cup.....Thats right the USA...i m not goin to argue with ur d*mbass.so stfu

  • @Kushsmoka420 You are so fucking wrong, USA did not buy the most tickets... what a fucking moron, you think USA has a very high % of supporters.... do you like just live in a neighborhood full of immigrants???? They would be showing more soccer on TV if the game was popular you fucking dumbshit.

  • @alexlvnv1688 ..Look you ignorant moron..Use google and you will see that the usa had the most ticket purchases than any other country (other than the host nation S.A.)...get your facts str8 before you agrue w me..

  • @alexlvnv1688 .Not to mention there is now a few channels on directv that are soccer only channels..FSC is one of them...Thatsa huge step form even a few years ago..Soccer is getting more popular year after year since the 94 WC and thats a fact..if you argue that then you r just an idiot...seriously bro get a life and stop replying

  • @Kushsmoka420 Do you have to pay extra for those soccer channels? OF COURSE YOU DO! If its just basic direct TV plan, there are no soccer channels. Unlike in other countries where soccer channels comes free with regular T.V plans and even ESPN1 and 2 has like a 24 hr coverage of soccer... have you ever lived outside the U.S... I think you don't even know how popular soccer is in places like Mexico and Europe... I will continue replying until you understand your concept and reasoning are wrong

  • @alexlvnv1688 ...you are failing to realize my point...Im not saying soccer is more popular in the usa than in europe or south america etc...im saying that popularity is growing and growing in the usa so i dont know wtf u r talking about but you seem to be talking out of your ignorant ass...like i said let it go..get a life stop replying

  • @Kushsmoka420 You said: "The people of America have always and will always have just as much passion for the game as any other country"... what passion are you talking about? This is what I'm trying to make you understand. You think soccer here is as popular and passionate as in Europe or South America, which is wrong! You have to pay extra to watch soccer games! Matches are played in football stadiums, some MLS teams don't even have their own stadium! This is passion for the game??

  • @alexlvnv1688 ....Listen up...The MLS is a new league compared to any other in the world...You cant have everything all at once it takes time....But yes americans have just as much passion for the game....This video speaks for it self...You would never see that many people in a bar to cheer for one team in any other sport (including football)..

  • @alexlvnv1688 ...I never said that soccer in the usa was as popular here as it is in Europe what i said is our passion for the game is just as strong..there is a difference ...keep trying to understand....

  • @alexlvnv1688 ...you keep turning this into a "popularity" contest..We have passion for the sport especially on a national stage..We have so many sports here in America thats why we have to pay to see them all ...Either way our passion for our country is just as much if not more than any other..Like i said soccer popularity is growing in the USA but our Passion has always been here..take that to the bank

  • @Kushsmoka420 We obviously will continue arguing because you keep thinking Americans have the same passion for the game, same love for the game and I'm trying to tell you that it is not true, which is why I brought up all the other stuff. That passion you are talking about actually only comes every 4 years during world cup but it is more like patriotism, not passion for the game. After the WC, it dies off, nobody follows Champions League unless you are an immigrant. ESPN dont even show it!

  • @alexlvnv1688 can you please define "White American"? You act as if "white people" are native americans, and that immigrants can not be white. Rethink your terminology. And if your point is to make a gross generalization about European immigrants, Latin American immigrants, and immigrants from the Middle East being the ONLY people in America that care about soccer, then you should ban yourself from speaking and commenting on YouTube for the sake of the rest of us that use our brains.

  • @Kushsmoka420 Trust me when countries have been having teams for 100+ years in their own leagues you dont have the same passion. And if you did the media wouldnt be going on like they do in usa or the media would loose viewers.

  • @ingenmansland ..well where do you think those people migrated to..you guessed it America....We inherited that passion....You just dont see it because the sports media cares more about football, basketball and baseball much more than soccer...They can make more money off of commercials so they choose not to show soccer that much only if you have cable or satellite tv....

Saying the USA doesnt have as much passion for the game is like saying europe doesnt have as much passion for basketball as us

  • @Kushsmoka420 Europe dont have as much passion for basketball as America.

when I say that europe have had clubs in 100 years you say that the people migrated to America, do you think that was in the same time period? According to you most people who migrated to America moved there 100years ago or less... never the less. America is good at fotball but the passion for fotball in europe, south america etc is more comparable to the american fotball in USA.

  • @ingenmansland ...Ive played soccer since the age of 6..im 26 now and I watch every national team game that i can (as long as work doesnt get in the way)...Our talent level is slowly rising in this country but the passion us fans have is 2nd to none...What reasons do you have to prove me otherwise...Just because this country hasn't had a pro league for that long doesnt mean that we dont care about the game as much as say Brazil or Mexico...

  • @ingenmansland ...The fact that we keep making it to the top 16 should prove my point that the interest in this country will only continue to rise...Hell soccer is our 5th or 6th most popular sport and yet we can compete with the best in the world...Just imagine if soccer was our number one sport...We would've won a WC by now without any doubt ..

  • @Kushsmoka420 There is a difference. Its that soccer in europe or south america is part of their culture which it is not in the USA (or north america at all). You are totally right about the media though. The media even sort of tries to ignore soccer and focus more on basketball, american football etc. I think they do this because otherwise, soccer will wipe those games out completely or give very low ratings.

  • @LSBonnPower ...I disagree with you....Its part of our (USA) culture too..the difference is we have more choices and opportunities than most south american and european nations...Baseball, Football, Hockey etc etc....So therefore its basically competing with all of these other things..I grew up playing soccer as well as other sports...But it's definatly part of our culture no doubt about it

  • @Kushsmoka420 Well europe and south america have the same choices to play football, baseball etc. Its just that it is not in our blood to play this. I'm european and we tried once playing football and it was boring. There was no excitement so we played soccer again. Most americans enjoy a few games. There are people that play multiple games such as basketball, baseball etc. Sure there are the odd ones that only focus on one sport and most americans (or N. americans) enjoy the games available.

  • @LSBonnPower ....Most european and S american countries dont have any football or basketball leagues....All they have is soccer ...There are not that many choices...There is hardly any opportunity for them to become a pro football or basketball player..In the USA soccer is one of many sports to choose from..We have so many leagues for any sport that Soccer cant compete especially if the MEDIA always overlooks it..Little by little soccer is becoming more popular here

  • @LSBonnPower ...this video is one of many that displays our passion for our team and country....If this doesnt convince you then maybe you should go to a usa game for yourself and feel the passion first hand...I suggest a usa vs mexico game!! Those are the best!!

  • @Kushsmoka420 I grew up in Europe and there are baseball leaques, basketball leaques, hockey leaques and football leaques. Those are sports that are not popular with the people. You can become a pro hockey or baseball or whatever player in Europe, its just that no one will notice you there. We have the same choices as USA, its just that the choices are more in the light in USA. I also never said that USA has no passion for soccer, it does but its not as big as Europeans or S americas passion.

  • @LSBonnPower ..See you just made my point...If someone from europe or S america is passionate about football or baseball or whatever who am I to say that they are not as passionate as an American...That makes no sense.........Americans who enjoy soccer are just as passionate as anyone in the world...That is not debatable....What ever reasons you have to prove me wrong i'd like to hear...Soccer just doesnt have the exposure because we have the best athletes in other soprts that get more attention

  • @Kushsmoka420 idividually an american can be as passionate about the game as a brazilian, German, italian etc. true. But based on the populations average, europeans and south americans are more passionate about it.

USA is gaining popularity in it so maybe one day, they will be like europeans crazy about the game. Who knows right?

  • @Kushsmoka420 Americans don't care about football as much as most of the rest of the world. And the fact is many Americans think the sport is a joke. Go check out the landon donovan interview with david letterman and u'll see what i mean.

I do not understand why u seem to be offended by that though. Americans are very passionate people, just not about football.

  • @pinoy426 ..there is no truth to you opinion....Im not offended by anything said on the internet #1 and #2 most Americans don't see it as a joke but alot of them don't understand most of the rules of the game and therefore they are not as interested in it as other sports in AMerica...We have so many Professional sports here that Soccer doesnt stand alone like in most countries..In AMerica Soccer has to compete with many popular sports. But to say we dont care about "futbol" is false =)

  • @Kushsmoka420 totally man i've been saying it for years that it's the media that doesn't allow US fans to even get a chance to watch the beautiful game and appreciate it. WC2010 was the first time they actually gave legitimate coverage/analysis of soccer in the US, and even then they still cut straight to like women's high school basketball immediately after some games...pathetic (and that's nothing against women either, it's just the truth)..

  • @fickole ...thats exactly right...hopefully one day soccer will get the attention it deserves..Until then we have to put up with our Bias sports media....Thanks for the positive response..

  • i like the old lady in the front hahaha

  • Man when Tim Howard went out on those last minutes..what a beautiful sight that was. Good effort U.S.A.

  • wow when i first saw this i thought somebody was gonna have a heartattack and die.

  • The one guy chanting "USA, USA..."

  • grrr :D fuckin' donavan :P

  • Although USA didn't progress to the quarter finals it is amazing that a team that didn't have a league 16 years ago nowadays is making great progress in soccer...I hope that someday you guys will make it a little further with Donovan making history

  • pipping Engurland at the post , fucking brilliant , well done !

  • Second time watching this today, second time getting chills.

  • they should test ghana for drugs they are too much muscle for the whole team

  • It's not soccer, it's football!! "Football" played in USA is actually handball ;)

  • EPIC at 0:17 hahah i love that part! XD

    wow such american pride!

  • Good luck against Ghana!

  • Well done!

    USA soccer team deserve this!

    Brazil is supporting you guys!

  • @rogermania USA respects you guys too, Brazil are the king of soccer 5 TIME WORLD CHAMPS!!!! and yet you still don't fucking show off all day like Argentina and England(who are not even soccer superpowers).

  • Never doubt the USA!!!!

  • So the Americans have F I N A L L Y found the world of football....

  • High five fail @ 0:35

  • I hate it when people say that Americans aren't passionate about soccer. Obviously that's a false statement. We just don't give a fuck about the MLS.

  • @steviepanties That is not true. Americans generally speaking don't give a crap about soccer until the world cup fever kicks in which is every 4 years. Why do you think ESPN would rather broadcast the poker finals instead of Champions League matches... because they know Americans will not watch Arsenal vs Barcelona. And really many Americans during the world cup don't even know who Gerrard, Lampard, Aguero are, they just supporting their country in a sense of nationalism.

  • @alexlvnv1688 Do you know anyone that is so obsessed with soccer that they watch every Champions League game? Maybe you do. But people like that are outliers, extremists in the overall demographic of "soccer fans". When it comes down to it, people watch games that either their favorite team is playing in or a game that pits two powerhouse teams such as (going off of your example) Arsenal and Barcelona. Some (obviously NOT ALL) Americans DO watch those games where prestige is evident.

  • @alexlvnv1688 However, I think America, in that respect, is not dissimilar from nearly every other country. If American teams played in the Champions League, you would see a major spike in demand for major sports broadcasting channels to carry Champions League matches.

  • @alexlvnv1688 Personally, I find the majority of Champions League matches arbitrary. Who gives a shit about teams like FC Zurich or FC Twente playing eachother outside of their teams' respective fanbases? Not many people. I guarantee you that not even the primetime television channels in Europe broadcast ALL of the Champions League matches. I find it juvenile how you think that you can make such statements regarding the opinion of American citizens as if you have personally surveyed everyone.

  • @steviepanties ...lol you took the words right out of my mouth...that idiot must hate amerca or something

  • just because of USA, we (slovenia) going home :(

  • @9bigi3b - your stupid country almost cost US advancing to the next round by at least drawing with England.. you deserved to go home.. You played like idiots against England because you believed we wouldn't beat Algeria

  • so thats where the noise was coming from...

  • all the us can do is RUN RUN RUN RUN RUN PASS RUN RUN RUN. no finesse at all. lame.

  • Yelling and chanting at the TV, like the team hears them. haha

  • if soccer is boring then what about baseball? watching 10 minutes of baseball is torture.

and why is american football called FOOTball? Seriously, it should be renamed to HANDball...

soccer is real footbal.. stupid people in US don't even realize that everyone abroad makes fun of US for playing gay and stupid sports like baseball and "football"

  • fucking epic!!!!!

  • Have to admit, that was pretty cool. The video would be better with in inset of the actual goal?

  • im feeling a remix of that girl in the pink wavin her arms to the song big bootie bitches

  • GO AFRICA!!!!!! WAKA WAKA !!!

  • out of the whole bar there is like only 1 black guy

  • Imagine if they lost #LOL

  • USA will soon drop out of the cup. They should just stick with their stupid handball.

  • @Dregan You call yourself an American? its hard to understand that americans will support their country in the Olympics, but never in the sport of soccer and in the world cup.

  • soccer=the most popular sport in the world.

  • And here I thought nobody liked soccer in the USA.

  • man i love the world cup!! USA vs GHANA 2morro its on!!!

  • no one in america is an actual true soccer fan. All posers

  • @firstplace08 wooooooooooooowwwww. Dude i've always been a soccer fan. You're saying 300million people have never been a true fan. I'm pretty sure at least 5% of those people have always been fans.

  • @firstplace08

how do you know if people care or don't care about soccer? think before you talk

  • @firstplace08 can't support you're own county? gtfo.

  • @firstplace08 Complete bullshit, I've been a true football fan all of my life and have watched some of the biggest games in history, I play on many teams and I know there are true fans everywhere you go. There are also posers in every damn country.

  • Is it just me, or does the guy in the blue collared shirt with the glasses look like the dentist guy from the Hangover?

  • @giorga2004 also the most boring except for an occasional moment

  • @13163480 ummmm, you have to watch regularly and learn the sport. You'll get why it is so beautiful/fun to watch. give it a chance...

  • you know in that usa world cup commerical it shows a guy rasing his eyebrows when some1 is about to score well pause at 0:25 and u will see the same thing happen

  • actualy there is nothing to be so proud of cause even slovenia which is a country that participate in the world cup for the first time wom against algeria so it wasn't that big

  • WOOO, soccer goals are like 10 touchdowns packed into 1. There's less scoring, but when they do score, people go wild.

  • @Odenkay Speaking of touchdowns, we all got to give props for Howard's Hail Marry throw to Donovan. He chucked that ball deep.

You know you are a bad-ass when the Spanish speaking media and fans give you a nickname; VIVA "EL PATO" TIM HOWARD.

  • impressive for amarican people

    Cheers... USA!!

  • @XiaoXuu argentina has a weak team right now. oh man that was a good joke lmfao!!!! your so funny man

  • i get goosbumb when watching this

  • i love how the americans play soccer, they have teamspirit.not like france or england they just have a couple of good players thats all.

  • @ASHYLIA88 Your comments won't win you any friends in a nation of 300 million people. In 1999, when Ahmed Ressam, tried to bring explosives into our country....the United States did not have hatred for all of Algeria's people. Just because we win in a sporting event you insult our nation and wish harm to us??? Algeria & America are friends and allies. To the 'mature' people of Algeria we say thanks, and we won't forget, the great effort of your team. To ASHYLIASS...THANKS FOR NOTHING.

  • this is the reason why football is the most popular sport in the world.............
