I would like to warn people about the 6.0 in the 2006 model year. they have major engine problems and the heads are warping between 20k and 40k miles. when this occurs it costs so much to fix them that you will regret buying the truck in the first place.

@buttcheese0 Completely wrong! The issue is with the head studs stretching, and is a problem when the truck is modded with extra boost. Keep it stock and it will reward you. Modify it by starting with the supporting equipment first, if you do need to mod it.

It burns me up when people dog the 6.0L without knowing exactly what the truth is.

Trucks bad ass. The 2006 is the Best 6.0 made and these motors are prime if you know how to set them up. Cummins are nice but the dodge pickups themselves suck. And whatever little kid was talking about his raptor can shut up, those are for little city boys who can't have a diesel. Congrats ;) I have an 06, 6.0 Rollin on 40's, pretty much just like this but dark grey, if you could ever see the pIaint. Egr delete, aftermarket turbo and injectors, head studs, edge juice with additude. Mutha fuck
