This is from Club Dada in the back yard and it is from 1989 or later as Matt and Wes were not in the band in 1987. There are lots of recordings of the New Bohemians as they were well documented. Yes this is one of the best songs and is my favorite. I always ask them to play Air whenever they get together. This song brings a lot of memories up for me. I wonder who shot this one.
You would know Dave (Lone Star Dead Dead Dave...correct?). You taped a TON of those shows as I remember. You were also around a lot in those days as was I. This is the post Geffen signing...someone needs to get some 500 Cafe & Theatre Gallery vids up (if they exist)!
That's because we were all drunk and wasted... Great days back then though. Club Clearview was a misnomer... It was always a little hazy the next day. LOL
TERRIBLE AUDIO QUALITY! Why aren't there more vids of this song? This is by far the absolute BEST song they ever did: Great lyrics, nice unexpected changes in the music...??? How about some more of this song?
@NavyChief803 In those days, the few of us who had the ability to get audio and video that could pass for pro-quality were doing the best we could, when we could, with what we had to work with. I got thrown out of clubs more than a few times as thanks for my efforts. I would never have gone into Club Dada with a video camera. Sorry to all those who worship the ground where Doak and Dave tread, but they sure could be pricks.
Damn...this takes me back. My freind Meredith & I must have seen a hundred Bohemian's gigs between 1986 & 1987. They were simply the BEST from that era.
