That sounds beautiful. It just does. I've always loved the violin, and even have/had one of my own. I'm trying to sell it right now.

Despite my love for it, I'm not the one to play. I'm the writer, mostly, so I play with words. But you're pretty good for self taught!

you're really good, for being self-taught, the only thing is i would suggest you use your wrist instead of your elbow while bowing. keep up the good work!

you're very good for playing for 4 years. i've been playing violin going on 9 years now. if i may offer one piece of advice, some times in the beginning of the song you are playing an open A. i dont know if you are trying to go for a particular sound, but i think it would sound good if you used ur 4th finger on the D instead of an open A. it gives it a richer sound in stead of just sounding open.

yes you are right about the D 4th finger ,cuz it feels raw to play on open "pure metal"

but sometimes I fear that I could get out of tune :D,so I go for the easier way LOL !!!

Ok so I understand that you play many instruments? How hard on a scale of one to ten would you say the guitar is then how hard a violin on that same scale? I've been wanting to play violin, but I just got my hands on a piano made in 1921! The real thing!!!

well, I don't really play guitar :D

but some of my friends do , I say the violin is DIFFICULT , if 10 is most difficult then violin is 9 since you have to master some bow techniques and play the "right" tone not a cent less or more ,I would give the guitar 7 cuz you do have frets installed ,I'm not sure about the techniques ...

Well Lets say piano is 1 to 2. I'd say guitar is -3, and I find piano very easy. Do you play cello? Is that harder than violin? Do you play piano? My other instruments include things like the recorder, lap harp, singing, upright bass, computer programing. Maybe lets put one of those on the scale of 1 to 10?

I give piano 7 violin 9 guitar 7 ,I've never touched a cello :s but I guess it would be similar to violin except for a bigger tone size (like the guitar),I don't have a beautiful voice :D , but I can sing in tune, well I give computer programming 5/10 (I study electrical engineering so have some programming classes too )

It depends on how you define ''good'' when it comes to instruments. It's quite hard to define and distinguish. It's equally difficult to measure, when there is such a broad array of talent nowadays; especially as we are more aware of other people's talents nowadays due to the internet.

Anyways, good luck with the violin - difficult to play. Just listened again, still enjoyed.
