  • WHAT A GREAT TALENT!!

  • GREAT!!!

  • Simply BEAUTIFUL 5*****

    Great post!

  • These Doo Wop legends were sure masters of their craft. The way Johnny Flamingo is belting out these tunes its has if hearing these songs live the day they were recorded.

  • Mel moore AKA Johnny Flamingo was a neighbor of mine in good old glassell park he would come around and sell bootleg perfume to make money he told me sold out to r&b years before and he got no royalties for his music that's sad RIP MEL.

  • @trik63 THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR STORY , LUV TO HEAR ABOUT LOS ANGELES MUSIC OF THE 50'S 60'S , DOW WOP R/BS I WAS A KID WHEN THEE MIDNIGHTERS CAME OUT .

  • RIP Johnny Flamingo... just finished listening to "United"...

  • Johnny was a huge talent.Too bad he didn`t have any one backing him up on this medley, butIt would have been great seeing him there.I also heard that the California group harmony society disbanded due to some deaths and illness causing attrition of members. We need young blood to carry this music forward!

  • I totally agree bigfist,it would have been great having the original group backing him,but if you notice on the original 45 it sounds like the group overides his voice a little

  • Yeah that is true.

  • To bad California group harmony society are not around anymore:(

But as long as all of the doowop fans keep it alive it will never fade away! And be forgotten i think doowop is greatest music ever!
