  • i used blueray on my ps3 and stopped, i can't actually tell the difference from dvd. and most blueray movies were about $10 more expensive.

  • Blu-Ray is good if you hide from the fact that Blu-Ray players cant play all Blu-Ray CD's. This is a mjaor issue thats been proven that latest Blu-Ray players cant play some of the older Blu-Ray CD's and Older ones cant play some of the new Blu-Ray CD's.

This hopefully will be fixed soon though but still... It's annoying.

  • Glad I did not buy a Sony Blu-Ray player.

  • imagin blueray has porn it will be clear u can watch in blueray clear pussy and dicks buts sucking going in them u will see evereything clear i am happy :)

  • before blu-ray it was called pink-ray...no lie

  • @kinkaid25 ISNT THAT THE PLAYER BARNEY FRANK OWNS

  • Comment removed

  • huh might be a laser problem, oh......... well

  • @jessvj No it's probly the Blu-Ray player unable to read the demo disc due to the one major flaw with Blu-Ray players. IT cant read all the Blu-Ray CD's out their.

  • this isnt like VHS to DVD its like who cares i dont even have a HD tv

  • Blu Ray video discs and HD DVD's are meant for HDTV's.

  • This discussion is over, Blu-ray wins. You all can go home now :)

  • Wooo Go BLU RAY SONY BABY

  • Toshiba is set to announce that they are pulling out of the HD DVD business after Warner Bros and US retailers Wal-Mart, K Mart and Best Buy said that they are only going to support Blu ray. Also contributing to the decision was a move by retailers globally to support Blu ray over HD DVD.

  • Everyone is switching to Blu Ray ONLY because it has BD+ protection. Google it and think a little while...

    Sucks, Don't it...

  • BD+ is marketing only, not a real thing. The BD+ DRM content on the Blue-Ray disk can be copied on any pc with Blue-Ray player, to any 1080p MP4 format.

  • Its really great that this "superior" format with no problems won the war. I dunno about you guys but I don't want to have upgrade my firmware everytime I want to watch a new movie.

  • prob because the disc is a newer 2.0 and most players are 1.0 or1.1 or1,2 its not a finished spec yet

  • and still they try to bring the blu down ain't gonna work dumbass

  • notice how we don't see the bottom of the disc?

  • yeah... i think its scratched :)

    BluRay 4tw

  • Im sticking with regular dvd for right now

  • Why even bother Blu-Ray. It's unfinished, you get less than HD DVD. HD DVD has picture-in-picture, in-movie menu's, ethernet features,... for a better price. Seriously, I don't understand how Blu-Ray is better in ANY way.

  • obviously you own a hd-dvd player. btw have you heard, warner bros have moved to blu-ray. that leaves only toshiba, microsoft and paramount left. micosoft AND paramount are also thinking about leaving. pwah!

  • This doesn't mean that blu-ray is better .. which it isn't

  • if you like watching blockbuster movies it does.btw blu ray is a better disc for movies AND for backing up hard drives, theoreticly up to 200GB, They've got it up to 100GB so far. HD-DVD CAN ONLY go up to 45GB. pityful

  • Only 1 and 2 layer blu-ray discs are ready (up to 50 GB), while a 51 GB hd dvd disc is ready ..

But it doesn't even matter, writeable blu-ray discs are too expensive (like everything else that has anything to do with blu-ray), double the price but not double the capacity .. pityful!

  • Your wrong there. A max HD disk is 30GB. A max Blu Ray is 50GB. Blu Ray is out selling HD 2:1. The Blu Ray is more durable than an HD. (Go right a head and watch that video on here) So which does the consumer AND producer like more?

  • Oh one more thing according to Gizmodo after CES Blu-Ray sells when up 93%

  • Wow you know nothing. The triple layer HDDVD disk (51GBS) has not yet, and most likely will not be released. There is already a 4 layer blu ray disk that holds 100GBS. Oh and by the way HDDVD lost when Warner switched. SO just go right a head and see there pitiful HDDVD player of yours.

  • great vid thanks for the upload

  • Why does every1 like blu ray but not the ps3? its very confusing

  • because it has bad games, I swear they are only getting sold because of the blu ray drive in it.

  • Not all the games are bad

  • The games aren't bad, they just don't crank out as many good games as quickly as they could.

  • i didn't know microsoft made blu-ray....hahaha

  • this means nothing

warner announced they will be going blu-ray exclusive. goodbye hd-dud. the look and sound of defeat.

  • Simple smash it and dont bother with the shit product.

  • i have that tv i highly recommend it.

  • A demo disc didn't load at a shop - big deal!

  • You probably just fucked up the disk so it won't load

  • the player needs an update like any high def player on the market. Where was this even taken off a floor model from best buy???

  • Yeah. Im sure they fraked up the disc. That's why I dont let anyone borrow my dvd's anymore. I have actually tried to do damage to a dvd disc and I couldn't come close to matching the utter destruction people do to theirs. Gouges, candy, hair - hair in the candy. I'v seen all this crap on the wrong side of a DVD. Even peanut butter. Frakin PEANUT BUTTER!!!

  • Ha Ha Ha, yup thats Blow-Ray

  • Funny.

  • you didnt show the bottom of the disc... for all we know its scratched up or taped over...

you could try boiling the disc like HDDVD users have to do though

  • Stylin WTF are u talkin bout!?!?

  • Quite a while ago, there was a playback problem with some HD DVD discs (kind of similar to this). One theory was that it was a layer of gunk on the disc left on there during production, and that if you boiled the disc it would go away. Some people did try that, but the problem was actually fixed by a firmware update several months ago. I've never had to boil a disc, and I have a few of the titles that used to be "problem" discs.

  • Oh, I didn't know about that. Thanks for the info;)

  • haha that's exactly why blu-ray is winning and HD DUD is loosing. hahaha. no seriously

  • That's why blu-ray has MORE support

  • Yes, Blu-ray has like 3x more support than HD-DVD

  • Well. You go on and enjoy your Hot Dick DVD player. Oops, did I do that - I meant HD-DVD!

    That's funny no...

  • This is hilarious. I had a guy try to show me an example of Spiderman 3 and he took the disc out of the case brand new and it wouldn't accept it. Needless to say I wont be buying Bluray.

  • LOL, same thing happened 2 me with the Fantastic Four 2 movie, i don't know what sony's up to, but this shitty bd players just won't do it for me!

  • Try cleaning the disk with a little bit of Windex and a soft Micro-fiber cloth.

  • Or use it as a frisbie

  • Get a life, do you carry a video camera everywhere just in case a Blu-Ray player has an error?!?!

  • Or maybe he has a cellphone and wants everyone to see blu gay crapping out.

  • how this had happened? indisputably this appeared an error cuz that disc are scratched or something...

    anyway i've thought blu-Ray rocks!!!!

  • I wonder, as a consumer, do you have any idea what will happen if sony wins? The same company producing films, will produce the media, will own the copyright rights, will own the media technology, will own the distribution? do you need some vaseline?

  • Haha, that is scary. That means they can charge what ever the hell they want for discs in the future. Not to mention a Bluray burner, how much would they cost?

  • la ps3 e la migliore

  • ciao

  • Nevermind nobody is perfect niether humans or things human make things... things help humans or serve humans...........

  • seriosuly , making a vid to make somthing look bad is just sad .....and a sign of lack of LIFFFEEE

  • Big fucking deal, there's always gonna be faulty goods being distributed. I'd like to see how many HD-DVDs have been recognised as "unreadable" etc.

  • Qu'est-ce cette polémique de dire que la blue-ray c'est de la m... ? si cela se trouve le disque est rayé.

  • blue ray sucks hd dvd rocks!!!

  • lmao there only 30gb blu-ray is 50gb

  • huh wtf ?????

  • GO XBOX 360 AND HD DVD!!!

  • lol!

you say go HD DVD eventhough microsoft wants to use blu-ray

    oh yah who feels dumb

  • they said they wont use bluray yo

  • w ww.yout ube.c om/watch?v=o5jEbZt6AIQ --»yeah this is what i did in the local shop....

  • i noticed on different occasions that a number of hardware demos in display being broken: i saw an xbox 360 in out of order, mp3's, tv's, lcd's, plasma's, dvd players, ps2's, psp's, ds', gameboy's -- you name it they prolly have a broken machine in display at one time or another.

  • Blu-ray is older technology than HD DVD, Blu-ray uses a 10 year old codec loaded on high capacity disc, HD-DVD is newer technology which can be compressed more than Blu-ray, however they are both identical when it comes to content.

  • just a thort umm.. 30G or 50G

  • fag-ray sucks ass HD-DVD is way better and faster then the piece of shit

  • dude, do you even own a HDTV and a HD-DVD player?

  • What a fucking idiot :D you might as well could have scratched de Blu-Ray like shit. I could to the same with a HD-DVD. Fag

  • ROFLMAO!!

  • why would u film that? lol

  • The bdp-s1 is the first model of sony, is only for Home video big-fans, Only not for the masses.

in 2009 $200 usd, full speddy, and good price & 1000 titles, Now No , is the Future

    Understand is First Generation.

  • failure :D

  • blu-ray sucks hd-dvd is the best

  • lol bluray sucks we have more space and better looks than hd fag

  • Blu-Ray is a stupid name. And whoever made it up can't spell. It should be pronounced BLUH-RAY.

  • its called blue ray because the type of laser that reads the info on the disk uses a blue ray (instead of the red for CDs) and blue ray holds 10GB more information (2 DVDs) more than HD-DVD

  • no its not you moron, blu-ray is 10X better than HD-DVD.

  • looooooooooooooooooooooool u make me laugh!!!

  • tosser.
