Another phenomenal Phil performance as always, but I really appreciate reading the posts that are pointing out the excellent talents of Mr. Tony Banks. It's an absolute crime that he's such an unsung hero. Phil & Mike had the big solo success, but throughout all of Genesis' years in existence and the personnel changes, it was Tony's songwriting and keyboard that was a constant spark. He's also a class act who never whined about the lack of respect & credit he's given.

@reggie46404 agreed, it's always nice when bands stick closely to the sound of the studio version - not always possible but Phil Collins and Genesis seemed to be good at recreating the depth of the studio recordings on stage, I think that was a factor in the popularity of the concerts

@tall32guy It is Daryl and he, like Mike Rutherford, plays bass and guitar which is why he was chosen (besides being good at both). Mike plays bass on the old stuff that he originally played bass on and Daryl plays bass on the newer stuff. Draw the line at ...And Then There Were Three.
