  • On my brook trout video the fish at 0:24 is that a native trout????please respond im not sure

  • to me its relaxing to fly fish, do you tie your own flies because i might try it looks fun

  • @midwesternoutdoors I do tie my own flies, but this one was bought from a store ( didn't have any really small dries that I tied at the time) I highly recommend tying your own flies. 1. It's cheaper 2. You can get as realistic as you want 3. It's very rewarding to catch fish on flies that you tied yourself especially if they're your own creations.

  • who would dislike this?????

  • @midwesternoutdoors who knows...haters gonna hate. Maybe because it's a small fish and not up to their standards or something? But who cares, I'm not competing with anyone. Fly fishing isn't a competitive sport.

  • @StephM1982 yeah i know i just started last summer and im loving it!!!!

  • amazing, was this caught on a dry fly???

  • @midwesternoutdoors yeah, I think it was a size 18 or 20 blue wing olive. It was just a small brookie but I just love those colors so I thought I should share the video. There are bigger brookies in there though.

  • @StephM1982 check out my brook trout video ive caught a 14 incher in a non stocked creek

  • @midwesternoutdoors those were some nice fish. Were you fly casting or spin casting? It's nice catching native fish. The first fish I caught out of this stream was a 10 inch brookie, just feisty as hell. I know there's gotta be some bigger ones in there somewhere.
