@gcoxalaska What gave us away? I love playing with horses this way. Asking, rather than telling..... appreciating their try.... no wonder the horses respond so well.
@SerpentQueen03 Cisco adores Val. Neither was all that certain about the wisdom of going into the pond and getting all wet and muddy. It was a hot day though and once they were in the water, it felt refreshing and once they started to play together, they had such a good time. Still makes me smile to watch them.
Thank you. Cisco is 24 and in the 6 years he has lived here, he only put two front feet in the pond to get a drink. He never walked into the pond. Going into the pond to play in it? Beyond conceivable to him. His bond with Val was so strong that he followed her into the water, watched her splash with her hand, tried it and discovered that playing with water was fun. So beautiful horse, but even more beautiful bond between horse and human.
I think you girls like your horses...
