  • Mayweather has wore Winning gloves they are very soft and protect his brittle hands, he used them in the Gatti fight

  • Great reviews !

Do you fight professorially or Ametuer and whats your record

  • what`s your favorite glove??? of all the gloves that you have try on

  • What are the best brands for wrist protection? Thanks.

  • What glove is the closest to winning?

  • Can the Velcro version of this glove be worn for sparring? Or, are they more of a bag glove?

  • If you have the money I would ALWAYS go with Winning products.

  • I have a pair of 18oz winnings which I have used less than 20 times. Sometimes however I seem to catch the joint where I bend my finger (ring finger left hand). Is this due to not being broken into properly or is this something that will keep on occuring?

    Great reviews anyhow

  • Why are these gloves so expensive they look no better then others I hav seen

  • @MrSandmanTv it's the fact that they are hand made and most of the material used in this glove is expensive. their foam composition is strictly one of a kind. the quality of the gloves are really high. so is the craftsmanship. both winnings and reyes are high quality, but reyes has bad craftsmanship because sometimes the gloves aren't completely identical but the winnings are. that's pretty much why it's expensive.

high quality material + japanese labor = very high price.

  • what's a lighter 16 oz. sparring glove winning or the imf techs?

  • @brandeezy108

    winning

  • @MrAsianinvasian123 ana julaton told me her 12 oz. winnings on the bag lasted around 7 years. if you're going to use them for sparring they might last longer than that!

  • What size (oz) velcro winning glove would you suggest for focus mitt & heavy bag training? I was thinking of getting the 16 oz gloves (MS-600B). Any feedback would be appreciated.

  • @dbrumba2 10-12 oz. for mitts and bag. i use 10 oz. it helps hand speed and good form. 10 oz. should do fine. 14-16 oz. for sparring.

  • I just wanted to mention: When it comes to winning lace up gloves, the 10 oz and 16 oz are made with the same foam/leather. I don't know about the velcro, but the only difference in the lace up is the logo is changed, (for the ones that can be used in pro bouts), but they are made with the same. Whether you get the 16 oz for training, or the 10 oz for bag work, its the same foam/materials.

  • does anyone know where i can get a pair of these 16oz in white? ringside is out of stock

  • Aside from the price, would you say these are the best gloves out there?

  • this is what it comes down 2, winning 16 oz vs grant pro sparring 16 oz both lace,

    which is better, period?????

  • @cisne21 i heard the grant pro's are pretty stiff and not as protective as winning. i'd go for winnings but you'll save more money with grants. it's up to you.

  • where can I buy winning gloves ?

  • I've been looking at the Winning USA site and I'm really considering buying the 18oz gloves for max protection because I have brittle bones and everlast hasn't been cutting it for me. I have been hitting harder lately and feel pain on my fingers and wrists after hitting mitts and bags. I noticed mayweather, marquez, pacquiao all use the same oversized 18oz winning gloves and they hit bags as hard as they possibly can.

Is it really true the price will come with an extra $100+ in shipping and f

  • @alexpalalove um, pacquiao hits the bags with 10 oz. winnings and spars with 14 oz. winnings. sometimes 16 oz. maybe he uses 14 oz. because his hands are smaller. and i've seen mayweather use 10 oz. grants. a lot of pros use 10 oz. gloves on the heavy bags and double end bags as long as the padding is extremely good because the smaller size helps them with a more closed form. but you can still use 18 oz. if it helps you because you have brittle hands you should be fine.

  • So straight up, are these worth the money or could I find a better deal with a different glove?

  • i have these in green rare as shit. look at my video

  • @ALEX32369 3 months ago did you comment on my channel saying that "i didn't know anything about boxing?" if you did i will just let you know that if i can afford a winning fg5000 why wouldn't i be able to afford winning gloves? that is IF you were commenting to me back then and not someone else.

  • @brandeezy108 ?? idk yea but can u afford custom colors?

  • @ALEX32369 yes, i can if i saved up more money like a couple weeks longer. it was a mix of birthday money and leftover lunch money i didn't get custom colors because at the time i didn't know how to request it. i don't need custom colors anyway i worked so hard to get it. i'm one of the few 15 year olds that has some kind of winning gear. if i didn't know or care about boxing i would have settled for a lot of cheaper gear. but i know what brand is best for training.

  • @ALEX32369 but why did you say i don't know anything about boxing. if you know me personally you would know that my whole life is boxing. i always talk about boxing at school even when people talk about other sports or even mma! i love boxing so much! it's the best sport in the world imo. or at least for me.

  • @brandeezy108 hmm i dont remember. im the only one with green and purple wininngs. everyone at the gym has winninh head gear and cups but noy gloves. and if they do they are the original colors but those are the elite level as me. ever fucking day someone tells me were did u buy ur gloves at and then wen i tell em the price they faint. they were 650 together, theyre AMAZING. hoes the headgear? and boxing is the best sport in the world

  • @ALEX32369 i love my headgear. i haven't gotten bloody noses ever since! it's definitely worth the price! winning has the best training gear money can buy!

  • are these gloves the best for sparring? i mean 16 oz?

  • hey love your reviews man, i have a question are the fighting sports gloves good for bag and do they feel light for a 16oz or heavier thnx man and keep up the reviews

  • how much did they cost you?

  • Do you sell any of your gear?

  • What website did u buy them from?

  • what do u think of fairtex sprarring gloves 16z

  • Winning=Best boxing equipment money can buy, literally, LOL.

  • These are the best sparring gloves money can buy, period.

  • i have 2 pairs of a adx profesional gloves can you do a review?

  • @cessmarquez Well, if you already own them, what is the point of a review? Can't you come to your own conclusion?

  • Is it recommended to wear hand wraps or some form of hand wraps even if I'm only using training gloves?

I've only sparred once in my life, but I'm starting to get serious about it. My friend and I ordered gloves and headgear. Should we use hand wraps? If so, what brand, material, length, etc. would you recommend?

Any helpful advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • @FLYPino019 Mexican style hand wraps 180 inches in length, everlast and ringside make good ones.

  • yes always,

gloves are not enough protection for ur wrist and small bones in ur hands.

    u definitely need them.

    the everlast wraps are fine

  • Always use hand wraps, learn how to wrap them properly. You need to protect your hands because you can injure and even break a hand easier than you think.

  • Can you rate Fairtex if possible.

  • i noticed these gloves are 16 oz but the padding on them is kind of flat, mine are 16 oz but the padding is much puffier on top, can anyone tell me what the difference is?

  • what gloves do you have

  • ATF

  • @pump555

I think somehow you got sent Winning softType gloves. They are puffy as hell. there is a separate webpage for them.. google it

  • @pump555 i think is because you bought a AMATEUR glove the glove thats on this video is a PROFESSIONAL one

  • No you wont bore us dude. I actually prefer you doing longer reviews. Winning gloves are over $250 and you've helps me more than one time deciding some gear. Make longer reviews. We, at least I, want to hear everything you have to say about the gear!

  • @ahset this is what im saying. i get pissed when a review is under 5 mins when it comes to equipment we are trusting our livelihoods with when we train, the more indepth the better

  • those are sweet golves blue looks great and white looks goo but gets dirty

  • hey could anyone tell me if they know

if you wear a XL mma glove would a 16 oz glove fit? or shorter oz.

  • @radical228

    It's not like MMA gloves.

All fight gloves are 10 oz (apart from some very small weight classes use 8 oz).

12 oz - 14 oz are for heavy bag work (they provide enough protection for the hands without slowing you down too much).

16 oz and above are for sparring. They are heavy, so you get a better work out and as your hands are consequently slower, you have to rely less on hand speed and more on timing. Most importantly, they are like pillows so you wont hurt your sparring partner.

  • @radical228

Any weight (above 10 oz) should fit, it'll just be a case of wrapping the hands to a greater or lesser extent to get the fit you want.

Also, good quality boxing gloves will break in after a few sessions and feel like they were taylor made for your hands.

    Get 16 oz for sparring.

  • i was wondering how these gloves feel to be hit with? cuz i heard they feel like pillows to be hit with, so i just wanted to confirm that. thanks bro.

  • Question? I just bought some everlast boxing gloves 16oz and I want to hit the heavy bag are these gloves good for what I want to do with it, hitting the heaybag.

  • Can anyone tell what type of Winning Gloves that Manny Pacquiao uses?? I know he uses the white ones a lot..I just need to know the type..Is it MS-600 16 oz??14 oz??

  • most likley 16 if you notice they are pretty big

  • @JRafanan

For sparring, he uses the 16 oz lace up (MS-600).

  • there 16oz... how are they lighter??? there all 16oz meaning they weigh the same!!

  • @aherna111

It depends on how exacting their quality control is.

I weighed my 14 oz Twins gloves, and they were actually just over 16 oz!

Also, if there is a fair bit of padding in the cuff (and therefore less on the hand area) they tend to FEEL lighter.

  • do you have these gloves? i wanna try themn out

  • @aherna111

No, I was going to but after trying on a friends I decided that they were too big. With the winnings, if I keep put my hands up, I'm completely safe.

Problem with this is that when I'm fighting in 10 oz Cletos, if I do the same, I'm still going to get hit...

The gloves are very good, but unless you have brittle hands, injuries, or hit like George Foreman you don't need the level of protection they provide.

  • ya i hear they are really expensive too i have the 12oz fighting sports they are garbage i was dissapointed idk what gloves to get

  • @aherna111

I have Winning headgear (FG-2900) and it is fantastic, it's pretty expensive but is well worth it.

I use Grant Professional Training Gloves in 16 oz, they are excellent quality and I actually prefer them to the Winnings I tried. They are a lot smaller (more similar to a fight glove) but they still have great protection for my sparring partner's face, my hands and have very good wrist support.

Their quality is comparable to Winings, but they are round about half the price!

  • have you ever tryed hayabusa sparring gloves? i wud like an opinion on whether i shud buy them..

  • I haven't used Hayabusa, but I've heard some good things about them.

That said, I'd recommend a set of Grant Campeons. They're the same price as the Hayabusas and they are from a long standing trusted brand, and are excellent excellent quality.

I've used loads of different gloves, but I prefer Grants over all of them. They are by no means cheap, but they do provide great value.

  • hi mate, can you do cleto reyes gloves? fight or training glove?cheers.

  • agreed!

  • @aherna111

Don't ever do bag or pad work in your sparring gloves (especially if you do buy some high end ones). It'll compress the padding, and the gloves will wear out much quicker.

Plus, if you like your sparring partners, don't get Reyes sparring gloves. The padding is so hard, honestly it's worse getting hit by 16 oz Reyes than by some 10 oz fight gloves!

  • is it really that bad of an idea to buy a pair of sparring gloves and use them for mitt/heavy bag work, as well as sparring? Cuz I was gonna get a pair and do exactly that, use them for everything

  • @GNPMAX

    Yes, it is.

First off, sparring and bag gloves are different weights. So if you're using sparring gloves on the bag, your hands will be slower and you'll burn out your arms/ shoulders much quicker.

Also, sparring gloves have nice thick, soft padding (so as to not hurt your sparring partner and so that you don't injure your hand), whereas bag gloves have dense hard padding (which fells like being hit with a fight glove).

If you hit the bag with sparring gloves, they wont last long.

  • Okay cool, I have a couple more questions for you then. You said that when gloves are listed as bag gloves they are for the heavy bag and mitts only, and when they're labeled training gloves they're meant for sparring? Also you said gloves you use for the bag/mitts are smaller than the sparring ones, but the videos where Pacquiao is working out with Roach on the mitts and videos where hes working the heavy bag look like big white 16oz ms-600 ones, what do you make of those videos?

  • @GNPMAX

Yes, training gloves are for sparring. Traditional bag gloves are for the bag, but offer little protection. Super bag gloves offer much more protection for the hands, so use them when going full power.

There's no reason why you can't use training gloves on the bag, but they are heavier, will wear out much quicker and the foam will compress so they'll offer less protection for your sparring partner.

  • @GNPMAX

Winning gloves are huge, although the gloves Pac-man was using on the bag were big, I doubt they were 16 oz.

The other thing to consider is that hand protection is paramount on the build up to a big fight. Even bruised knuckles would be a serious concern.

A lot of Pros use light training gloves on the bag, as they give better hand protection. Pros are sponsored by the manufacturers, so they don't care if they wreck a set of $300 gloves in a month...

  • I got some of these for sale, same color and weight. good condish. contact me.

  • I like this guys reviews, he must have a lot of money to be spending on all the different boxing equipment.

  • someone try with windy gloves, Fairtex, or Triumph United ??....

  • How would a pair of these compare to thie size of Rival high preformance sparring gloves 16oz.?

What I mean is the size, weight, feel etc.

  • Not sure how long they would last, i only had mine for less than a year. Grants are great quality gloves nevertheless

  • @ratethisgear i have the grant pro training gloves you beleive that winnings last longer(are more durable than grant)?because i just ordered the winning pro fight gloves.

  • @ratethisgear I bought a pair of the newer grant gloves and I must say the quality wasn't what I expected :/ They came to me faulty TWICE.

  • @ratethisgear How are they still holding up?

  • What do you think of the durability, my Grants lasted 5 years doing mostly sparring and some bag work using them everyday, are the Winning gloves durable in that sense?

  • Comment removed

  • Fighting gloves are not made by Winning. Fighting is based off of the design of Winning but they are made in a factory in China and not in Japan like Winning.

  • are they the same as fighting gloves or diffrent

  • different

  • U should review the FIGHTING BOXING GLOVEs! there made by winning gloves!

i just want to see if they feel they same as winning gloves. cause there a lil cheaper then the winning gloves

  • they arnt made by winning, they are made by title, fighting boxing gloves a knockoff of winning, winning is in a different league to any other make

  • i think exacly the same man i ve been using them now for the past 4 years

  • you are so damn lucky!

    Those gloves are fucking expensive.

    And hard to find.

  • @chamillionator8 Not hard to find at all, just check out the Winning-USA website. They are, however, the most expensive gloves you will ever see, LOL. $280 for the MS-600s after taxes, shipping, and some type of weird shit the Asian who runs the company adds on your looking at about $400 for the gloves in this video. I can see how someone may say that is rediculous.

  • @TGUNZ562

Thanks! They have velcro strapped versions in 160z as well. I just needed to look harder! =] They really come out to like 400 dollars!?!?!

  • @chamillionator8 Yup, a 16 ounce of Winnings are going to total out to about 400 bucks after all is said and done.

  • on the winning website it looks like they just have a section for pro gloves, and velcro gloves. are the pro and sparring gloves the same thing??? just curious cuz i was thinkin of pickin up a pair.

  • yes mate, they the same. you dont get 14,16,18 oz fight gloves do you loll.

  • are the 10oz velcro gloves winnings good for the heavy bag?

  • Is the Fighting gloves any good. i mean compared to the winning?

  • not the same as winning, those are made by title i belive. but def not winnings

  • Fighting Gloves is made in Japan the same as Winning do you think the quality would be the same as Winning?

  • @ratethisgear fighting is their own company, but they got a deal with title for title to shop their gloves as well

  • great review

could u plz do one of grant pro training gloves thx

  • thanks, ill do my best to thta review asap

  • Comment removed

  • Props on the reviews, there is a lack of reviews on winning products. I got the 14oz gloves in black, use them for bagwork, pads and sparring. Would recommend this brand to anyone, its expensive but definitly the best in my opinion for a training/sparring glove the protection is great. Customer service is first class

  • hey thanks a lot , i been getting a lot of positive comments. thank you very much. i will b doing more reviews. please visit my site and rate some gear to help others buy equipment by giving your opinion. i my website to become the bible for boxing equipment reviews. and its ppl like u that have been giving me all that support . again thank you very much
