The violin and cello sound amazing. The waterphone is downright terrible - like a sound effect from a horror movie, but much, much more annoying and unpleasant. Truly a stab in the eardrums with a kitchen knife :( The electric guitars... heavenly. Would really like to hear an actual song or a more constructive melody, not just noises and random sounds/tones...
can someone tell me what the name of that piece is that he plays on the cello right before she plays the waterphone...i've been wondering for so long...this is really amazing too by the way.
I think you can - but you hear the long reverb from previous notes masking the direct sound of the violin. The result is a bit of a mush between the direct violin sound and the reverb.
The waterphone sounds great. The modulating interaction between the original resonant sound and the reverb is hauting

it sounds like just an improvisation on the first movment of the first suite of Bach's 6 suites for solo cello.

its probably the quality of the video and sound, for tests like this you need somewhat sensitive equipment
