you think only about the seniors? sloan and bross are very good gymnasts and i love them. both of them could be AA champion in 2012, that's no question, but maybe one of the younger gymnasts like jordyn wieber?

@Sassiiification im not sure bridgets in the running for the aa in 2012. yeah she just won worlds, but look at chellsie memmel, even if she hadnt of broken her leg and made it in aa finals ahead of nastia or shawn, her scores were not difficult enough to get her a medal at all. no one really knows the contenders until the year or even the day of the olympics...

I have to say, Bridget's really growing on me more and more. She's got lovely lines and extension, and if she keeps upping her difficulty like she has been, I think she's going to be a force to be reckoned with for the next few years!

totally agree! rebecca bross is lovely, but when you look at her and then watch bridget, you can really see the difference. bridget's gymnastics has gotten so pretty, and it seems like she's got another new trick every meet these days!

Her floor work is amazing. I was so hoping that she would win this year. I love Bross as well but Bridget is in a class of her own

Bridget is a much more complete gymnast. Bross has a bright future but really needs to clean up her form, dance, and maybe freakin smile occasionally.

Bross' one issue is her body works against her when it comes to making "great shapes."

She has knock knees which create the illusion of bad form, and it's really not something she can just fix. It's unfortunate, but I still love her gymnastics and hope for some great things from her.

As for smiling, she did quite a bit of it. But really, would you be grinning ear to ear if you smashed your chest into the low bar coming out of a HUGE pak salto? Or nearly blew out your knee on your BB dismount?

I think she's more bow-legged than knock kneed; sometimes when she stands her knees don't even touch! Haha..I still love her gymnastics though.

actually I agree with you. If Bross were to hit all her routines, I think she could win as well. and I too would love to see one of the Russians finish in the top 3.

I actually doubt Bross and Sloan will go 1-2 in London. There is too much competition from others including Huang from China who wasnt at Worlds, JYY when she gets healthy, and Pongras of Romania.

Sorry. Well you were almost right on the London Worlds. I think the Olympics will see the Chinese be much bigger factors in the AA, plus Pongras, and maybe one of the Russians. The Americans will have a great shot too, but it will be a bigger battle. Who knows if Bross and Sloan will even be the top 2 American AAers in 2012 or not, maybe Hong if she keeps improving or some newer junior.
