  • Sounds pretty damn good to me!

  • excellent lesson. thank you.

  • This one is better, much closer to the original, have a look:

At 0:33-0:35 you make a mistake which is constantly repeated.

  • Great post.

    *Check my Tele demo.

  • I hate alternate tunings cause they are a pain in the butt, however that's gotta be the best cover of this song i've ever heard. Kuddo's. I might just have to break down and learn this.

  • Thanks heaps for the compliment...I've just discovered open C, try that one, I usually use open E but open C is another dimension. The band I'm in is playing Chain if Fools (Joe South plays guitar on the original) I couldnt work the riff out just didnt sound right, then decided to use open C and there it was!

  • @vampcat73 Have a look at this guy, he knows the real deal:

  • @vampcat73 If you're a Keith fan, you can nearly put it in open G and just leave it. Just buy another guitar and keep one in standard and one in G!

  • friggen awesome man

  • sounds great

  • very good lesson, one of the easiest ones around

  • That was real nice thanks!

  • WOW.......you should join the Rolling Stones !! great playing..... Is Mick in open G tuning too ?

  • Mick always plays in normal tuning even while playing slide guitar

  • Thank you for the great video.

Are you using a pick and fingers or just fingers when you play this song?

Also, I think your amp sounds great.

  • pick and fingers seem to have the best results

  • Do you have tabs for this?

  • there are some great tab sites on the net just google it i suppose

  • Nice!

  • Great lesson!!!!!! thanks!

  • No you dont need to remove it tho I find the 6th string just gets in the way when tuned to open G

  • niiice 5/5 for originality haha

  • COOL

  • yeah baby !

    great stuff

any chance you would have time to TAB this out for a fellow Keef fan ?

  • Yeah you are right thanks for the correction...I suppose I took it for granted because when you watch Mick Taylor do the intro riff in '69 in the park gig he bends the string.....a lot of the tab around shows the string being bent but Richards does slide

  • Great!, But Richards is sliding, not bending the riff :)
