one of the most touching OP in the story and i am glad that it is successfully translated into Chinese and we have all been luckily enough to see such a marvelous piece!!
my favourite of the opening songs; i don't mind the singers accent the tiniest bit and i think this song really communicates what a horrible blow losing kircheis was to reinhard.. its one of the great strengths of this show that a character who died pretty early on still feels like a strong presence. (sorry for the spoilers but the song makes it pretty clear what happens..)
@gunsbulletsheroin Well, of course. You gotta love a show that isn't afraid to kill off main characters. If LOGH was LOTR, Sam would have died at the beginning of The Two Towers & Aragorn would have died at the beginning of The Return of the King.

Too bad the petition to bring it to the US failed. It would have been an awesome series. But then again, most anime fans in the US prefer mainstream and commercialized stuff like Gundam and Pokemon. Real classics like this won't sell because there aren't angst-filled teen heroes or flashy robots. Most people complain about LoGH because of too much "talking". Go figure.
dude I prefer this show to be in Japanese to be honest. I didn't get into it until I moved to Japan, and then I could draw similarities with the free planets alliance and the US today. I dunno but this anime is fucking epic!!! I like how the characters really grow on you and there are so many of them!! :O
@RealZee Definitely think this is the type of show that would be well praised beyond the anime niche fans anyway. Companies need to learn how to advertise shows like this outside their usual market and make anime more successful in the West for all sorts of new fans ):

the opening LOGH belongs to Reinhard while the ED belong to Wenli. Each of them are really meaningful
