@JakJoProduction Actually his publicist was coming over to stop the interview but he liked my questions so much and my interest in what he had to say he raised his hand to tell her to stay away. After the interview he complimented me and said that was one of the best interviews he'd ever done.

@JakJoProduction Hahaha it actually DOES look like he's doing the mind trick xD I met Mr Daniels in Oslo in 1999, talked to him several times and he came off as a VERY polite and a nice man. As you'll see on his website etc he is very protective of his property, he fights the sales of fake Daniels-autographs and he's tough on people who sell these forgeries, but that's totally understandable, I wish other stars did like him. Plan on seeing him again in February (Gothenburg), can't wait! :D

Cool. :) when the science fiction fair came to Sweden about 2 years ago he was there. I think it costed like 100 euros to get an autograph from him. Me and my friend walked past him while smiling. He waved at us as a sign to go to him. We got an autograph each AND got to have a chat with him for 10 minutes totally FREE because he thought we had great characters.

I think Ive slowly moved away from it, because Lucas will just not give us the original six-track or condense it down to 4.1 since the baby boom used two of the magnetic tracks on 70mm Dolby stereo. A 4.1 Dolby mix would be nice its far desecrate than Dolby 4.2.4 matrix.

Her words were Anthony Daniels, arrogant and egotisical. Now I know uv caught some of the sunshine eminating from Mr Daniels backside but there are two sides to any story. If you check out (Justin Lee Daniels Star Wars reunon on Utube) you will see what other actors say about AD. As for douche an fat asses, I prefer my conversations to be more mature.

I would say that when I see Daniels out of caracter, it's not hard to imagine that he's C3PO... my guess is that he really is a droid, and they just cover him with flesh, like a cyborg everytime he doe's interviews.

c3p0 has always been a favorite of mine, and anthony did a great job bringing him to life! a documentary explained 3p0s role as being a sort of everyman character who would be how most of us would react to the goings on in star wars. Also he comments on the goings on like a greek chorus. His prissy attitude is both annoying and charming. He is the reverse of darth vader (his creator). 3p0 is a machine, but nice and likable. vader was once a good person, and became more machine like as he fell.

at the same time tho, Kenny was def as not as serious an "act0r" than Anthony. I think the BBSW show made Anthony look overly bad when he probably simply approached the star wars movies from a completely different professional angle to Kenny. Without this particular psychological state C3P0 would never have been half as convincing as a pernickety "stuck up" robot (compared to R2). Seriously though, he did a fine job of making C3P0 the robot we know/love today - so dont be too harsh on him...

well the costume itself is uncomfortable. he can't bend his knees to sit down. he has to recline on a tilting board between takes to rest. the suit pinches, and lets not even get into bathroom breaks! anthony has to be put together literally like a robot and has to stay in the suit for as long as he's needed. I respect anthony a lot for enduring such discomfort to bring us such a wonderful character!

guys around 1980 i saw footage on Tv of c3p0 and another identical ( yet silver) droid doing battle in an environment like the large dark entrance to jabbas palace, c3p0 was firing LASER RINGS from his chest and it was comented that this was taken out because it was against c3p0s charecter to be violent.

this is well before cgi and it was a lucas piece of footage 'real deal'. anyone know anything of this? was it lost /destroyed?
