  • DR. SUESS I LIKE YOUR BOOKS !!!!!!

  • I used to call my grandpa onceler, because he told us stories.

  • The Deluxe Edition of The Lorax on DVD and Blu-ray will have the 1972 TV special in a better clean remastered quality with color corrections, TelevisionFTW1. It will ship to stores on February 14th and will be distributed by Warner Home Video.

  • @TheCarlitosbug I heard they also released it because of the movie "The Lorax" coming to theatres.

  • The tale of the Lorax, The darkest of Suess's reads It tells about the Lorax, And how he speaks for the trees. But its not just a story, Nor a show on TV, Its going to be a movie, From the creators of Despicable Me. It's the 4th Seuss film, Made after "Horton Hears a Who?" And will be shown on March 2nd, Two, Zero, One, Two. Why March 2nd you ask? The reason, if I may, is because it's Dr. Suess's 108th Birthday!!!
  • @supersonicmario56 HOLY-THNEED!!! Really!? Awesome!

  • I heard they're making "The Lorax" into a movie. For one thing, it's going to be the next CGI-animated Dr. Seuss movie since "Horton Hears a Who" as well as the live-action adaptions of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "The Cat in the Hat."

  • oh my god, "crows"?! There are actually identifiable animals in Dr. Seuss world?!

  • @Psybur Except for Slow Joe Crow in "Fox in Socks."

  • I'm Wilford Brimley; I speak for the diabetics!

  • @Wolfbane8 I believe you got that from "Family Guy," didn't you?

  • @bcakapinky nope

  • When I was 3 I thought The Loarx was a land walrus version of the ones that were in Oh the thinks you can think, and I thought the Once ler was just a headless version of The Grinch.

  • @RingoandCarlin Yeah, I never could think WHAT the Once-ler would look like so it's kind of easy to imagine him JUST being the arm.

  • DR. Seuss is Beast!!

  • The Lorax needed a shotgun. Then they'd listen.

  • @CivicPartyRentals LOL! Ya! Reminds me of something I read once: "The only way the meek will inherit the Earth is if they're willing to kick ass for it."

  • @gspendlove YES! That sounds about right.

  • Wow! I remember this cartoon. How time flies. I just never thought I would live in a time where it would ever become a reality.Call me a tree hugger but its wild how the earth is being transformed from a blue marble to a dark dingy polluted planet at the hands of a group of greedy profit driven Once-lers.

  • When I first watched this when I was 3, I always thought that those trees were for eating because they reminded me of candy, cause of they're orange yellow red and pink colors.

  • The music is sooooooo 70's. I love it!

  • @ep301 I love it too! My mom calls it depressing and it kind of is, but it certainly makes you FEEL something which I think it's supposed to.

  • this video is very accurate however trees are renewable we still pollute to much and do awful things to our earth

  • @nfhbrutus14 There is a great amount of money to be made in what nature offers. It must be carefully and properly managed however, to avoid waste and depletion.

  • Ewww butterfly milk.

  • I LOVE DR. SUESS!!!!!!!

  • it's so sad that this book was on a challenged/banned books lists. i did a project on it, it was bc it gave messages of enviornmentalist subliminaly to children and some parents didn't like it. ridiculous. my favorite dr seuss book

  • @unfinished8kt why the hell would they challenge dr. seuss? What is so bad about Dr. Seuss?

  • @unfinished8kt I agree. Why would ANYONE be against environmental protection education?

  • @ltm0011 The people who destroy the environment in the name of business would have a problem with it, you can be sure of that. They don't want anybody getting the idea they're doing anything wrong.

  • @unfinished8kt Mine too!

  • @unfinished8kt More likely that in reality it was banned because it demonized big business and in a country where economic growth is the primary goal to be pursued at all costs, we can't very well have our children thinking that industry is the bad guy. They just didn't want to put that as the reason it was banned because it would make them look bad.

  • @unfinished8kt If that's true, then it gets worse. I heard about a logging community who criticized the book and did their own messed up version of the story that supported cutting down trees and logging them.

  • @unfinished8kt There was NOTHING 'subliminal' about the message, here. It's literally an environmentalist cartoon that wants you to know the very real truth that the world will turn into a sad, gloomy, uninhabitable place without trees.

Fortunately, that's no longer a problem. Dr. Seuss wins.

  • @unfinished8kt isn't dr.suess a person who teachs lessons like how to do things, right?

  • I remember watching this as a kid and not being bothered half as much as this does looking at it now. And I must agree with the Lorax.

  • *Holds the Urge to laugh*

7:59 te Lorax looks so funny hopping on one foot after kicking that machine

  • I Loved This Book As A Child And STILL do!!!!

  • Poor Lorax! I'd listen to him if I were you, Once-ler!

  • I wonder what the name of the mixed chorus group that did these Dr. Seuss specials was? They seemed to do a LOT of non-Disney animated specials and movies in the 1970s; I also heard them on "Snoopy Come Home" and "Charlotte's Web" among a few other places.

  • Oh God Ioved this animaion :D

    thanks for putting it up
