  • Might I recommend both suzyranner and diana sullivan (dianaknits). Diana has a complete series of "how to" on machine knitting on youtube. She starts, in great detail, from casting on to making lace, making socks, to dying with kool-aid. There is also another lady on youtube under hobbyknitter who offers some sound advice. Or if you just wish to search in general, go to youtube under knitting machine videos. The list is endless! Happy searching!!!!!

  • Thank you so much for taking the time to comment Deemail100, I did stop the videos because I felt a bit stupid as there is so much wonderful information out there. 55 years of knitting and 20 years of Mach knit, wow that's awesome!

Anyway, just wanted to thankyou for the encouragement and I am so happy that at least it gave a tip to one person :)))

  • thanks for the suggestion, please don't hesitate to add more little things we might not have thought of...i just joined a forum a month ago and I have learned a ton of little hints even though i've been knitting for 55 yrs and machine knitting for 20 yrs...i have stretched to thread a new color, reached to the last inch to adjust the top tension, and of course, bobbed up and down to reach other tools and weights, etc.......never did it occur to me to just stand up!!! thank you....
