  • Thats a beatiful car :^) if i am 30 im gonna buy that car

  • I'm a proud owner of the 57 chevy Belair hardtop. This was the flagship car of the 1950's . Lot's of style and chrome, the ultimate Cruiser!!!

  • Christine was a 1957 Plymouth...not a chevy, the look nothing alike.

  • Interesting sales pitch, almost like a fashion show with the cars being the models.

  • A rather goofy commercial for such an iconic car.

  • It's no wonder why these cars are so awed and speculated. Takes a lot of wonderful effort in eyeing these cars, and just by how more entertaining they are to gaze at than cars of today.

  • my dad bought a 58 plymouth fury fully loaded for $2, 500. my mother had a fit

  • @leonarddaccardi It would be really funny if he called it Christine.

  • i wish i could go to my Chevy dealership and buy a new '57 Bel Air

  • @13madbob So do I, in late 1956 & '57 you could do that, my dad bought one brand new special ordered through the Chevy dealership. It was the Bel Air 4-dr Hardtop, he never bought new cars direcly off the showroom floor because he said it was cheaper to order from General Motors.

  • i wonder how much did these cost brand new from the dealer at that time 1957?

  • the 57 bel-air is quite arguably the coolest car ever designed!

  • I grew up in the 1960's & I remember when these cars dominated America. My dad bought a 1957 Chevy Bel Air brand new & it was the family car for the first 11 years of my life. My mother learned to drive in it. But just like Elvis & Rock n Roll it all ended when my dad sold it in 1968 for $250. He bought a 1968 Chevelle Malibu & that's cool but not as cool as the '57 Bel Air. When the new buyer drove off my dad said "we'll never see it again". Memories are made of this. I could almost cry.

  • @WINGGULLSEAGULL my dad bought a 56 belair new was going to trade it in for a 63 ...i said no...i was 12 ...gave it to me in 71 ....i still have it ,,,,u never know

  • @animalcorvair That's cool, I wish my dad had listened to me & kept the '57 belair in 1968. He made up for it in 1978 when he bought me my 2nd car for a $1000 & it was a '57 like his only it was sierra gold, his was turqoise. My 1st car was a '59 Impala 2dr.

  • @WINGGULLSEAGULL Consider yourself very lucky. You had one in your life. In my case, I must stand watching these commercials and dreaming to have it.

  • I'm in love!

  • Just simply Sexy and Appealing to todays standards....

  • and the best part is is all the detail work they put in to these. for instance on the speedometer the middle has the bow tie symbol and that is the high beam too. u can truely see the time they put into tdesigning these cars

  • @montecarloss85HO This is my dream car of all time. Im only 31 years old as which, this car is almost another 30 years older.
