When I used to ride a 65 I was way faster than I was on my 85 on a lot of things, but in the soft stuff, rutted corners, and jumps and large obstacles I'm way faster with the 85. I think the 65 has some kind of power ratio or something with a name someone smart would know, but the 65 did good off the line because the bike had a different response with speed and throttle and the kid is a kickass rider, it takes some skill to get someone whos so good at high speeds of the line in one piece.
