What you said about people dieing so you can do your crack is something I keep telling people but they just do not care and keep blabbering about the government.
I have family in Prison for various drug crimes such as growing Marijuana and making Meth but the people doing the drugs do not care that people gave their lives or freedom so they could enjoy it.
because of this I do not believe it is morally right to be doing such things so long as its illegal.
Regarding the legality of drugs and the effectiveness of those laws, what is your opinion on laws in general, in terms of whether they should be questioned and/or blindly followed? I'm of the opinion that a stupid law is actually harmful, but it's tricky to make an argument for out-and-out ignoring those laws as it can lead to a slippery slope. I don't think that recreational drug use is actually criminal in any real sense of the word, but I do agree that criminal or no, it is still illegal.
