@Dexter158 A modchip is something you install onto the motherboard of the PS2 that lets you run import or bootlegged games. Another option is to get a swap magic disc which does the same but without having to crack open your PS2 to install something. You can google the two options and decide which one is better for you. Another option is to get HDloader, but I don't now how to set that up. My friend set that up for me. You can install and run games from a hard drive using it.

I do have a ps3 but it isn't compatible with ps2 games. It doesn't matter anymore, though. I bought another ps2 from the US, it was really cheap and totally worth it. Xenosaga is the best game I've ever played! :)

Awesome. One of the best I have ever seen. You are good dude. To bad you didn't handle the trailers stateside. Maybe then Xenosaga would have sold enough copies to warrant the remaining three games. Is there any way to download this to my PC. I have watched this video probably over 100 times in the last year and if Youtube ever takes it down I would be at a loss.

This is a really epic trailer and totally gets it right. Epic Music, Epic Dialogue, Epic Scenes. There are so many depths of Xenosaga.. the e3 trailer, no offense, really sucked. It could have focused heavily on what the game was about.. the MUSIC, the emotional dramatic developments between the characters, and also the GIANT ROBOTS, and SPACE, andPHILOSPHY. This one gets it right

Congrats on a very professional and cohesive trailer. I think that this wouldn't work as an actual marketing ad for the game since the game itself is very complex and someone who has never played the game before would not understand.

But that doesn't really matter at all since most of the people watching it are fans of XS anyways. Great job on an amazing piece of work.

I normally frown on these types of things, as they're usually just a random hodgepodge of unrelated clips and unrelated audio with no timing or coordination, but this is an entirely different animal from the standard fare.

I actually felt like this sells the game like a trailer should. The voice clips and cut-scene clips you selected tease all the selling points of the games plot. All the while, the music works well too.

5/5 Bravo.

do you have a larger version (like at animemusicvideos org) with the nigredo/rubedo scene like this?

and is the reason you used the censored scenes (like at 1:13) because you lack videos from the original version?

And yes I lacked the original scenes in the widescreen format. I have the scenes in the full screen format that everyone seems to have. But I am not sure if I even still have the original files to my video anymore. They were taking quite a bit of space on my puny hard drive.

I actually have the ones from bluelaguna. But during the planning stage of the video, I noticed that bluelaguna did not have ALL the cutscenes. So I recorded them off my PS2 myself. Oh, and the aspect ratio seems to be kind off on the bluelaguna ones, but that could just be me.  But yeah, I love bluelaguna and get my episode 2 stuff from them.

when you scan a file into the cube media player what extensions did you get you audio from .01 .02 .10 .11 .12 (disc one) all the audio from .01 .02 is cliped at the end.

Yeah, that's why I export them all as a adx files. (Well it ends up being 1 single file for a whole disc) and then I extract the audio using ADXutilities.

I don't know why it is clipped. Some people have no trouble with it. Anyway, I don't quite remember how I did it. I just know that after I scanned the disc some how I could save what I scanned in to one single file. And then I just use ADXutilities to open up that single file and then individually extract the audio since in ADX it doesn't clip the end.
