the city in this pic is shanghai, china. and I believe it was taken inside the oriental pearl tv tower (468 m / 1,535 feet). the tower on the far right side (only a part of it can be seen) is jin mao tower (421 m / 1,380 ft). the photo is already a bit old now. I think if you could take a photo at the same spot now, you would see a new tower standing right beside the jin mao tower - the 492.0 m / 1,614.2 ft shanghai world financial center.
