I think any person who understands what torture is by definition, should know why waterboarding can only be described as torture. Torturing prisoners of war violates international law and removes incentives from our enemies to treat our soldiers in a humane way.
It makes no sense to say that the redeeming value is that we will gain information that could save lives. Torture is not a reliable way to get accurate information.

Especially since de-regulation (that Bush approved) was an important cause in creating the current economic issues. Obama is trying to reverse the de-regulation, which is necessary in the same way that regulation after the Great Depression was (and still is).

I think any person who understands what torture is by definition, should know why waterboarding can only be described as torture. Torturing prisoners of war violates international law and removes incentives from our enemies to treat our soldiers in a humane way.
It makes no sense to say that the redeeming value is that we will gain information that could save lives. Torture is not a reliable way to get accurate information.

Especially since de-regulation (that Bush approved) was an important cause in creating the current economic issues. Obama is trying to reverse the de-regulation, which is necessary in the same way that regulation after the Great Depression was (and still is).

Tax cuts do benefit people including the economy. Obama said he will cut taxes too for 95% of the people. Are those tax cuts not going to benefit people? Bush's tax cuts are what probably postponed this recession caused by the housing bubble that was created during Clinton's administration.

They took Israel in totality and scattered the Jews all over the world and next attack was on us, on Christians and took our lands. They keep on saying that they want Israel land.
