Sharpe was more of a WR to me. Were as Novacek and Bavarro were monster blockers asewell as gifted recievers. In terms of great blocking TE's from the 80's you have to put Don Warren from the Redskins right up near the top.
Our defense sucked that year, if we had Tim McDonald that year we would have won the super bowl. Our safeties were the weak link on that team, we had everything else.

What if Christie attempts the fg vs the Giants or even better, what if the Niners met the Bills rather then Skins or Cowboys in at least one of the 3 other SB appearances from 92-94? Matter of fact I would have loved to see the 90 Bills vs the 95 Niners. That would have beeen a SUPER treat to see.
