I was about 14 when I played this game and I kept up with all of the players pretty well. I was able to get Emperor a couple of times. I always looked forward to the resets cause after a while the top 10 were nearly impossible. I still have my copy of Myth 2... don't know about TFL. probably hiding somewhere.

I'd love to see this revived. Miss the day's of Ol'Bungie

@DoctorSalt You aren't dumb, you had a bad idea. The reason why I thought it was a bad idea is that the Myth world was designed with strategy gaming in mind. It wouldn't translate as effectively as a brand new IP. Besides, Myth is a highly unique strategy game and there are very few like it, we could always use more of the tried and true Myth gameplay. In the end I think it would be unnecessary. We don't want another generic 3rd person action game, this generation has enough of those already.

I was so upset about Halo Wars... Buying it for $60 and finding it the shittiest game I'd ever played. Myth looks more fun even though I haven't played it. You need a Mac to play it, right?

Nah, they released Myth2 for the PC as well. Project Magma still releases updates for it too, and you can still play online via marius-net.

Unfortunately, there usually are only a few dozen people at most playing myth 2 online at any given time, and I must admit that I'm not one of them... I do still fire it up fairly frequently though. Working my way through legendary at the moment.

The fact that this game never has had a true successor despite being over 10 years old is an absolute crime.

you dont need mac... you can play it on vista with the new patch at project magma... :D i am now playing it on legandary... and its still more fun than gta, crysis, wow or any other popular games! ;)

Personally I think Myth needs to be brought back to life. While it wont happen it would be awesome to log in and see two full rooms and a third room with 30+ people in it. Maybe it could be ported to consoles? It would suck because of all the new people but i think on the whole it would be better if a new game was made.

I remembered playing this game when I was a kid and it was mature but I played it anyway because I had permission to play it because it was my dads favorite PC Game, Myth The Fallen Lords and Myth II Soulblighter kicked major ass! But Microsoft bought the Myth series and really RUINED the GAME! The Wolf Age sucks now, I already played it before and I almost puked how Microsoft made it, Wolf Age would be great if Bungie made it. Bungie owns!

Look it up on torrentspy (and make sure you have a torrent downloader installed), download it, download the no CD crack then update it to 1.6... It worked for me. I lost my CD too.
