The set and character design is definitely 1920-ish, but the animation is definitely not up to that standard of the time. I kept thinking "Superjail" the whole time and that is deliberately cheap looking. Way too obvious what was flash trying to look like it was better than that.

The song was good but the cheap animation kept drawing me out the video. But most people, half my age, won't notice to care.

@DocWolph I disagree. I noticed it, but the music video still drew me in with it's 1920s theme and contrasting visuals.

@fastbreak333 The 1920s style made me look. But being a former animation student, and current animation buff, I was thrown by the animation. The visual style is good, so was the song, but the animation was not. For that style of animation, Flash in no substitution for a pen and ink. There you can use flash to color the cels and After Effects or some such to roll the animation.
