whats the warranty for this imagine the parts, at jiffy lube, yes id like to have the oil replaced, ok what car you got oh just a biucket excavator hehe
@Georgeqaws And the better thing is, they cost nuffin to run as it is all electric ran from the power station in a 6" inch cable... When it use to be SEC (State Electricity Commission of Victoria) it was costing alittle, as if a roller on a belt had to be replaced, they would just replace all of them... Yallourn Mine (vic) is now private and ran by TruEnergy... Altho you dont near the machines in the Open Cut... I do hear the power station as im only 5km away from it.
That looks like Loy Lang open cut, I was lucky enough to drive one of these machines at the Yallourn Open Cut, very very easy to drive... but Yallourn are slowly removing them and replacing them with dozers.
@chechnya I understand your anger at these machines, but as an engineer/geek, I think these are really magnificent that we managed to build something this ridiculously massive.
Thats not even impressive.. are you living in the same world then us ? i mean we got a serious problem with those kind of forage..

@RDNKThrasher I cant recall how fast they move, but they do move at good speed as they are a track drive
