I'm guessing you like old school Hip Hop and are conscious of the mainstream garbage they put out nowadays? If so you should really get into this genre more and realize this isn't anything near techno. In fact saying it's techno is a huge insult to the artist. Techno is very simple and mindless compared to experimental music (or that's what most call it anyway). Anyway just letting ya know bud, I personally hate techno but love experimental and underground Hip Hop.

@lesleynaughty I just saw Daedelus Live at Movement in Detroit and his set was by far the most incredible thing I have seen in 13 years of going to the Music Festival and attending electronic music events. I have seen everything from every electronic style and his set was one of the most incredible things I have seen or heard in my entire life. Daedelus is like a virtuoso of electronic performances. Seriously impressive. I so wish I could find his live set from this past weekend online!!!!

Still, the term "Techno" is pretty fucking stupid and doesn't apply 90% of the time when people say something is techno. But 5 months into the future, everything produced electronically is now considered "dubstep" by people who are unfamiliar with the genre's.
