  • Isuzu is part of GM you morons

  • @BIGblocks4life Umm, no. Not since 2006. In 2002 GM owned 49% of Isuzu, Isuzu bought back stock to where GM owned only 12%. Later in 2006 Isuzu bought back the remaining stock from GM; Isuzu aren't part of GM at all. Lucky for them, as GM went technically bankrupt in 2009 and Isuzu would have had to pour capital into the festering heap of epic fail that GM are reknowned for.

  • Why the hell does Ford keep changing shit!?!? keep the body the same and throw a different diesel in it. the '08-'10 were just starting to grow on me

  • Well they have to find something to make your current vehicle seem old.

  • @rrc5034

i honestly like the new look it has and you do have a point they change the look too many times.

  • @rrc5034 because ford thought the 08 version was a bit weak with 350 hp. and had quite a few problems. now it has 400+ hp and now we will find out how good it is.

btw so this one is stonger than chevy?

  • @prodirockerd Im not talking about the body style not the horsepower

  • i heard that ford developed this engine for 4 years is this true

  • there was 4 engines made by navistar. well 5 if u count the two 7.2 L offerd

  • all i gotta say is that im workin for ford startin next week and damn am i proud to say im workin for the greatest car and truck company in the world! FORD ALL THE FUCKING WAY!!!!

  • your a lucky guy to get a job there..good for you...and remember?....buy american

  • @390merc65 "what's buying American" Most of all the part used in cars & trucks that GM, Ford are made in other country's to begin with. I own a f150 & love it. Whats funny is Honda & Toyota have many plants that make quality cars in the US made by American workers with US made parts In reality these evil company's are producing actual American vehicles verses so called American car company's shipping in parts from other country's to save money. So buy American does not mean what u think it means

  • @zack9912000 both of our F-150s were made in the US, and most of the parts are, too. save for things like speakers and stupid stuff like that.

  • i am very glad that ford is not out sourcing there diesel engines anymore this will b a kick ass truck now ,

    i cant wate

  • @mkeel1495 And GM or Dodge can't say that because the duramax is an Izuzu engine and the Cummins is a Cummins engine

  • Doesn't look bad, I do not like the grill though, otherwise it looks fine. I'm glad to hear Ford will quit out sourcing their Diesels, should bring their Super duty reputation back and compete well with the Duramax. Atleast we'll know this engine will for surely last.

  • kinda looks like the f150.

  • If you knew anything about the diesel world and went on d-max, cummins, and powerstroke forums you would read what Daniel is saying...The 7.3 IS WIDELY KNOWN to be the most reliable diesel. Sure, you can find a cummins with 400k on it, but I guarantee you more stuff has been replaced on it than a 400k 7.3

  • True.

  • I think I've made my point. I never "hated" on anything, except maybe a little bit on the 6.0 and 6.4 which I shouldn't have done, I just simply said the 7.3 was a durable engine. I gave both Cummins and Duramax compliments, and we have a 7.3 that deserves a compliment, so I'm going to compliment that engine too. This is my final comment, I'm not going to say anything else. I'm not going to be sucked into these pointless eternal brand wars. If you don't have something good to say, don't say it.

  • If you don't like Powerstrokes, that fine. And you know what, I am not going to blow smoke up anyones ass and tell them that the 6.0 or 6.4 where great engines. To be fair they where good engines, they where just not up to par reliability wise. I have high hopes for the 6.7, but I said the same thing for the 6.4.

BUT: Regardless of how makes it I love diesel power. Their is no question in my mind went it comes to trucks, the worst diesel is 3X better then the best gasser.

  • You want regret saying he 6.7 is a great engine. Ive have done tons of research and ask wide views of diesel tech's and they all think the new Ford Diesel engine is going to be a new thing for diesels. The new Ford powertrain for this 2011 truck will be something people fall in love with. I know i have. And i love Cummins engines. But i think the new 6.7 Cummins is a waste of history that cummins has put into there engines. The new 6.7 powerstroke will not let the consumer down.

  • Honestly Brain, I think your made your self look ignorant here. He gave Dodge and out right complement, and admitted openly that the Cummins was the better engine. For the record I have a video of the Powerstroke with 200,000 miles, no problems. NONE. Drove like a brand new truck. And ford has the most trucks on the road with over 250,000 miles.

That said Ford has done penalty of wrongs. We all know about the cruise control problem that had many trucks burst into flames, just for starters.

  • "Powerstroke engines suck they always have,"

  • Please read my comment before you reply. I didn't say they said it was the best, I said they said it was one of the most durable. There are thousands of 7.3s with well over 400,000 miles. Go look at PowerStrokeHelp's videos. I didn't say Cummins wasn't the best, in fact, I said they were the best! Did I say Dodge trucks were bad? No. A friend just sold his perfectly running 1997 7.3 with 437,000 miles. A quote from Wikipedia: "The 7.3 is widely considered one of the most durable diesels built".

  • Sorry Brian, but Consumer Reports, Popular Mechanics, Popular Science, Car and Driver, Diesel Power Magazine, Wikipedia, as well as MANY, MANY other Duramax and Cummins fans disagree with your biased statement about the 7.3 Powerstroke. Of course Cummins is the leader, and Duramax currently has the best diesel performance wise, but that doesn't mean the 7.3 was bad. The 7.3 is widely considered one of the most durable diesels built. Don't take my word for it though, go read for yourself.

    Peace!

  • I have scene studies that reports the 6.4L and the Dmax are neck and neck, and which one is better performance wise depends on which bit of the performance graph (HP, Tourqe, etc.) you are looking at.

  • Thats a flat out lie. Not only was the 7.3 regarded as one of the best engines ever, but the Powerstorkes kick ass when it comes to power. Both Cummins and Duramax alike. Though with Cummins has the huge handicap of having a really shitty truck behind it. Besides regardless of which one, Powerstroke, Cummins, Dmax, Cat, etc they will be better then any engine you car to name.

Besides how the fuck can you say that an engine "sucks" when it not going to be one the market until next YEAR.

  • Your right the 7.3 was a very very reliable engine. And i know people who have over 500,000 miles on there trucks and still the original engine. The work crew my dad was on for logging had 2 trucks before the new ones with 7.3's and they were the most reliable engines ever! They have never owned dodges because the tranny's in the cummins equipped trucks always go bye bye. The axles are another let down for those trucks also. Ford has a great powertrain! GM isn't to bad.

  • Sounds like it might be better. Time will prove me wrong though.

  • your shit you faggot your name should be dickrider69

  • who should be named kickrider69 ??

  • chevyrider6 AKA dickrider69

  • haha LOL your funny

  • hello, mr. bankrupted

  • fords suck big balls....they can never come up with anything good..

  • chevyrider... what a dipshit he comes back later to drop another useless and retarded statement? What do you drive out of curiosity?

  • Model T Assembly line Taurus SHO Mustang GT GT40 F Series E Series Camper Chassis Thunderbird Bronco
  • 0:48 lol so true

its always been found on read dead

  • 0:48 is true for the 6.0 and 6.4, but not whatsoever for the 7.3. The 7.3 is widely considered one of the most durable diesels built.

  • Except for cam sensor problems.

  • Thats not even completely true. The 6.4 is a good engine, and the 6.0 was a OK engine, it just had some problems, especially in its early production.

That being said I am glad that Ford are building their own engines again. I hope to hear only great things from the 6.7L.

  • 6.4 engines are actually worse. We've seen radiator leaks causing damaged egr coolers, hydro locking the engine and busting pistons and bending rods. The front cover is coming apart, DPF from excessive idling are stopping up, the harness going to the high pressure fuel pump is shorting out, problems with sticking injectors, broken rocker arms, ect. At least the 6.0 could be worked on without pulling the cab. and was better about not bending rods when hyrolocked. can you tell I work at a dealer??

  • can the speaker sound more bored?? spice it up a bit.........

  • he hates fords. hes only doing it for the money. lmao

  • lol no but fords really do suck... i dont say these things for all of you to get mad but really even the guy said that all the motors that they've made sucked.. hopefully they go far with these new 6.7's
