If they finally make a freakazoid film "we'll meet again" needs to be the music for the teaser trailer! Just imagine: The song plays while the camera is slowly panning through some streets. What movie could this be? Then finally panning on the face of freakazoid just standing there with his biggest grin. Freakazoid:"Told you we'd meet again". Cue the freakazoid theme music (short sample) and logo, then the release date.

It really is very sad that Freakazoid got cancelled after this episode... It definitely had the potential to go for many more seasons... In fact, it probably would have if the network hadn't been constantly changing the show's time slot, thus preventing Freakazoid from hitting its fanbase and getting better ratings.

It was, without a doubt, one of television's stupidest moments to cancel this awesome cartoon...

I thought there would never be a good cartoon for the longest time, but then I found Adventure Time! Look up the Adventure Time episode entitled "The Eyes" and it will restore your faith in cartoons, trust me : ) After that, watch the one entitled "It Came from the Nightosphere"

@thedigitaldragon A painful truth, but he was just the voice of Gutierrez. There are plenty of OTHER Freakazoid villians still around today! Actually, considering how long it's been since the show was on TV, pretty much everyone involved in the original show (except for Richard Stone the composer and Ricardo Montobaun) is still alive today (even Eddie Asner, who was just as amazing in Up as Mr. Fredrickson as he was as Cosgrove)! So the show COULD hypothetically come back some sunny day.

Cartoons nowadays are written by people who don't think people are smart enough to understand jokes, so they rely on potty humor and dumb humor as well. That, and I don't think many cartoons are drawn by hand anymore, which, in my opinion, has removed a human element that can't be replaced.
