  • thank you for your comment here and on 'life lessons'

I went to your channel , saw your vids, and my 200th vid on YT, so I just watched it.

3 years and 400 videos ago. Thanks for reminding me . . .

  • I´m so happy to have found you Margaret in Internet. You tube must be proud to have such a user.

  • I absolutely enjoy listening to your experiences. So lovely :)

  • Could I please have permission to post this story on my FB page? I just love it!

  • @thestringdreams You're welcome to it. Please credit me and show me when you post it. Glad you like it.

  • @thestringdreams

Great, thanks! You are a wonderful story teller!

  • I'm a recent subscriber and ive got a glimpse or two of your harpsichord and i started going back through your videos in hopes of getting a better look at it (and you of course) and i am glad i did. it is beautiful. i dont know anything about harpsichords except they emit beautiful sounds. yours is absolutely beautiful to me : )

  • i bet it was fantastic... and candle light romantic.. and intimate..

  • You are a very acomplished individual Margaret...of course you no this...I am once again in awe of the artistic contributions that you have managed to make and are still making with your life...You are an inspiration!

  • I'd a thunk the marijuana users would take well to the sound of a harpsichord. That's a unique tale.

  • Oh, your harpsichord sounds excellent! Could you tell me who built it? Thanx!

  • William Dowd in 1970. It is a French double, Blanchet.

  • You are so lucky to have a work of the famous Master Dowd no wonder it sounds exceptional.I recognized it is a Blanchet copy by listening to its sound only, but could guess a maker:)

  • good lord, that's remarkable, that clap.

& how different it was from the NY perf.

    wow.

  • p.s. i am wondering if you still have those "treasures" in your possession? i'm thinking you do! wonderful story, wonderful life!

  • I don't think I do. I have the gown, which I still wear for ceremonial events. But the things? you could look at my piece "How to Unload" . . . .

    thanks for your interest

  • will do that! but nice to know you kept something from that event;gown.

  • salutations, atree3! i found this video in kenrg's favs. came over to take a peek; i enjoyed so much about this video. you have much to impart to us i'm thinking. i also love the fact that you took your dogs along for the adventure! love the edit as others have said also. subcribed and looking forward to getting to know you.

    best wishes to you,

    sally

  • oh no, they weren't MY dogs. I had my hands full with the Bach and moving.

  • thanks for correcting me. lol! yes, i can well imagine you had your hands full!

  • Thank you for sharing this.

  • Yes, will you play a piece for me, us, on the harpsichord? with all my heart, Please. Liz

  • some day.

I'm a little out of practice, too much vlogging

  • you are beautiful

  • Art of Fugue never played on harpsichord before '67 in the whole of the US?!? How strange. But why don't you play some Bach for us, Ms. Fabrizio?

  • It's a beautiful memory.

We're human and we need interaction, exchange... company, sometimes, for to... let our Soul grow and express itself.

    Thank you.

  • You edited this piece fantastically. But am I so new not to know you are a musician also? Perhaps I should have guessed.

Fingers have such an intimacy with their beloved intstrument and yours is gorgeous.

  • Great story!! You're a great story teller!!!

  • What an amazing artistic experience. It's almost like that is what you strive for but could never "make" happen. You were just an open vessel enough to allow it to happen.

  • nice story =)

twas listening to it as i was getting ready to take the bus, take care and cheers

  • wow. thank you for sharing.

  • Thank you for sharing this piece of history. I literally had chills at the end of the story. I'm so pleased to have met you through this incredible thing called YouTube.

  • What a wonderful story. I could actually imagine the atmosphere. To be at that particular intersection of time and space must have been amazing!

  • wow... youtube is coming to life! what a story!

    thank you!

  • and what a beautiful job you did with the editing! this made me homesick for SF... so full of amazing people.

  • me too. I think that old theater is a bowling alley now. Atree3 thanks for bringing your story to life for us.

  • No. The building is gone. There was a bowling alley across the street which is now Amoeba records.
